This base layer is good for what it’s designed for. It does snag very easily. It’s a very high price to pay for a garment that is so fragile it will literally snag on a peeled, boiled egg! As for providing the function of a base layer it does perform well. The weave being a knit makes it very prone and susceptible to snagging.

The Light weight crew is a perfect early season, moisture wicking, long sleeve. Hunting mostly the midwest. It doesnt stand up to the twigs, thorns and brush. Snags pretty easily. As most synthetic base layers it does trap the stink, however during a mid day scout, i could feel the moisture being wicked away and almost felt cool to on my skin. Does its job as a great next to skin piece. highly recommend.
