Also bought the matching top and both were great purchases. I use all Sitka product and primarily hunt in the south east. My coldest day so far has been 39-degrees and staying warm starts with a quality base layer. This is a good wool product. Glad I bought those base layers.

The weight is not too thick and fits nice without being too snug. They are soft and should work well as a base layer.

These Merino bottoms are the perfect layering piece for those cold mornings. I have tried several other brands, but they never had the comfort or performance that I wanted. Sitka nailed it!

It was perfect in the 30’s kept me warm, and kept on under traverse pants into the high 50’s no problem getting too hot. Merino wool is the real deal.

Despite being lightweight, they pack a punch in terms of warmth, making them perfect as a base layer. They're also tough enough to handle rough conditions and stay in great shape after washing.

220 Merino

Soft and comfortable but the length is about 4"-5" to long. I am 5' 7" and wear a 32x30 in all fitted pants. These are just too long in a weird way. Material is thin and bottom does not have elastic so I can easily fold them up. I was hoping for a better fit for the price. Waist sizing is comfortable.

Merino long John bottoms

Shipped quickly. So far they seem to be holding up well. I also have the 120 weight ones(top and bottoms) and after one season they are getting small holes in them.

I figured I'd give these a shot since I've seen so many videos on how well merino performs, and I must say, these don't disappoint. The only problem I have now is, I don't want to use anything else! Now I went and got multiple bottoms and tops in merino. Thank you for the amazing product!

Why did I eait

This was my first purchase of Marino base later. I’ve had good quality base layers from other companies but these were so comfortable I’m kicking myself for not having purchased them sooner. Keeps me feeling warm and comfortable in waiters on cold boat rides and frigid water
