Great Hoodie

The fabric and fit are really great for me. The pocket design and placement sits above a pack belt making it very functional. The Sitka style longer zipper is a big plus as well, it helps regulate heat more efficiently. A lot of times hoodies are just hoodies. The merino fabric and overall thoughtful design makes this one stand well above the rest.

Great layer or outer garment.

I have two of these. This is my new favorite goto layer for all hunts. It fits great, but is roomy, so I moved down from an XL to L. Heavy duty merino makes it super comfortable and warm but is a very versatile if you need to shed some heat. The garment is fancy enough to wear out on the town. Great garment.

Excellent Core Merino 330 Hoodie

I found this core merino 330 hoodie an excellent base or midlayer hoodie depending on whether the conditions. It is very warm and comfortable. The XL fit for me was spot on. Overall I like the piece.

Overall I like the piece. However, if you are not actively wearing the facemask, but want the hood up, it doesn't really work at all. I got this for winter steelhead fishing in the PNW, and really want the hood to be functional. Maybe worth considering offering it with or without the facemask?

Excellent!!!

As a photographer, I spend a lot of time outdoors in various conditions. I like high quality layers instead of big bulky coats. I bought the Merino 330 Hoodie to wear in -20 temperatures as a hey layer. It was superb. The built in hood and face mask proved to be hugely effective and beneficial. I would buy this again.

Amazing hoodie

When weather gets cold and wet

I wore out my old gear and it was time to purchase new under layering products. I decided to purchase the Core Merino 330 Hoodie as my late season format and was I impressed! It work quit well in walking out to my deer stand in the morning with a lighter layer over the top for the long walk. Then once at my stand it was bundle up time and never found a need to leave the stand all day. Sitka continues to define the optimal products for each and ever use. I also used this product for ice fishing and was very pleased with the results! Thanks again for great products! Great hoodie, very warm &

Great hoodie, very warm & comfortable. Only thing I do not love is how quickly it began pilling. I wear it under my Sitka waders in early season and where the straps are became completely pilled within a hunt maybe 2. Known issue with wool garments but did not expect it to happen that quickly. Would still recommend as it does not compromise the purpose of the hoodie just aesthetically displeasing.

Warm, but some improvements can be made

This is a solid baselayer/sweater that keeps me warm. I could just wear this alone at 40-45 degrees with no issues. That being said, I think 2 improvements can be made: * The length can be longer both in the front and the back. I have a bit of a gut, and I sense that the front of the garment just isn't long enough to be comfortable. It should probably be about 2-3 inches longer in the front and back really. This would allow the baselayer to be tucked in comfortably if desired. * The front pocket is awesome, however it doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the garment. I think it should. . . but perhaps that's a personal preference.

Amazing base layer for really cold temperatures

Incredibly warm and comfortable. Fits really well and you can tell it’s going to hold up. I haven’t had it long, but used it steelhead fishing in Idaho. Standing for hours in one spot and it got down to 9 with a 10mph wind. All I had over it was a puffy and my mountain jacket a was pretty warm.

Sitka 330 Hoodie

Alaska worthy
