Too Narrow

I have feet that are a bit wide at size 12 and wear size 14 in other wading boots so that I can comfortably wear an extra pair of wool socks when winter steelhead fishing. I tried the CrossCurrent size 14 on with my socks and they were much narrower than my other wading boots. There was no way I could fish in them so I returned them. Otherwise the boots appeared very well made.

Finally got to wear my

Finally got to wear my CrossCurrent Wading Boots. They are incredibly delightful to walk in and the support is great. They handled everything my 8 mile wading trip could throw. From ice on trails, slippery rocks, and standing comfortably in current. I’m not great on writing reviews but for me stable, comfy, and rugged is a win.

I took a chance ordering

I took a chance ordering these after my local fly shop didn’t have my size in any other brand boots that I was looking at. With Sitka being so new to wading boots, I wasn’t too sure at first of their first pass for quality in the fly fishing world. Happy to say that these boots blow me away. More comfortable than anything else out there, stable in the current on slick rocks, and they fit like a damn glove. I absolutely love these boots. They are holding up well so far in the mud, water, and on small hikes to my fishing spots. Can’t go wrong with Sitka! Ordering one size up for stocking foot waders is the perfect fit.

Just a little small

The neoprene booties on the waders are (as one would expect, but as I failed to realize) very true to size. You definitely want to order up a size to make sure your feet aren't completely cramped while wearing the boots.

Great boot

Have used these now for three weeks of varied fly fishing, from extremely slippery to hiking in Estancia Christina, Argentina. They are comfortable, hold well and have great ankle support. Love the screw on cleats - bravo.
