What the Dew Point?

The weather is always good when wearing this jacket. Exceptional construction and made from high quality material. Perfect fit for roaming around in Northern Idaho.

So far so good

Wore it a few times during a light drizzle stayed perfectly dry. Have yet to try it during a significant rainy day. A little tight to wear as an outer layer over another jacket! If this is your intention maybe go a size bigger.

This is my favorite rain jacket. Very lightweight yet waterproof. I love the pit zips for ventilation. I own other Sitka rain jackets but this is my go to. I own a solid color and camo. XL fits perfect, even with base layer, mid layer and puff underneath

I’ve only used my Dew Point jacket and pants on a couple of short hunting trips since obtaining them. They kept me dry in the moderate rain I was exposed to. The clothing is very light and packable. Due to their lightness, I’ve intentionally avoided wearing them when bushwhacking through blowdown and thorny vegetation. The Dew Point jacket and pants were provided to me by Sitka as a replacement to my previously purchased Sitka rain gear now discontinued) that was deemed by Sitka to have had a manufacturing defect. I’m very impressed in the manner Sitka honored their warranty.

I got this jacket for a trip to London as I was expecting some rainy weather. The jacket was perfect for early fall in London. Paired with a long sleeve shirt it was warm and dry. Its also light enough to roll up and stuff in a small backpack when the sun pops out. Great jacket that is perfect for travel.

Very nice! Keep’s me very dry in the rain. If I could make one wish it would be for the coat to be a tad thicker for warmth.

Great piece for packable rain gear

First I’ll say this isn’t the quietest or fanciest rain gear, but that’s not what it’s meant for. As for very light weight, packable gear that will keep you dry, this stuff is amazing. Has been a vital piece of gear on my Idaho archery elk hunt.

If there is any bulkiness

If there is any bulkiness involved at all jacket will not zip up. Shoulder and the arm lengths are perfect but when it comes time to try to zip up the rain jacket over slightly bulky other clothes you have on you will not do it.

Perfect set for this raining days

Fits great and appears it will work perfectly with a mid season layer. Found myself caught in the rain a few times last season and could have used this set. Bring on the rain!

Dew Point Jacket (and Pants)

Just finished a scouting mission and hiked over 10mi in a steady rain with this jacket and pants. Performance was great. One mistake was not tucking in my other layers which absorbed water at the bottom hem from the waist belt on my pack causing things to bunch up. If jacket was one inch longer, this probably would not have happened, but also avoidable. Nice to have the additional warmth from layering this over my base.

Size up

Jacket is great. Very light weight layer. But I ordered my usual size but it is very small. No room to wear over a warmer layer like sweatshirt. Size up 1-2 sizes if using g it as an outer layer.

Absolutely love the weight of this jacket. Only thing I can complain about would be the zipper is a little stiff when trying to zip it up but beyond that the jacket preforms flawlessly.

Great Jacket, fits awesome.

Hard to tell from a lot of the reviews, but I’m 6’3 and 230lbs and the XL fits great. Originally had the XXL because I was nervous about arm length. Great fit, noisy for sure, but packs super small and I already did a few hour hike in the rain in Alaska and was warm and very dry.

Dewpoint jacket.

This jacket fits true to size. The XL size fits nicely over my other XL jackets. It has kept me dry and is easy to stuff back into my pack when not in use.

Exchange was flawless

Purchased an XL and it was a bit snug so returned it for an XXL. Whole process took less than 10 days and I have it in plenty of time for my Alaskan fishing trip next week. Confident the jacket and matching pants will serve me well.

Nice shell

All around great rain coat. Primarily acts as a shell for wet weather protection with very little insulation.
