Appear to be good quality like all other Sitka purchases . Wanted something packable for September elk hunts and willing to give up quieter fabric for the weight savings . Looks to be what I was looking for .

They're super light and extremely packable. I bought them for September we elk hunting, when the weather can turn on a dime; and it did. They definitely got their use and will continue to be used year after year.

I haven't really had a chance to put these to the test like my other gear but fit is true to size.... easily can slip over my apex pants should a storm blow through..... hopefully not something I will have to use often but as with everything else that Sitka makes its there to perform when I need it t to

So far they've performed well and the fit is what I expected. Lightweight and very packable. Not the robust pant I would bring guiding for a season but short term they perform well.

I haven't field tested them yet. The fit is good, they're comfortable over pants or I could imagine you could use these as pants as well, the way the belt is built is a nice touch The quality is good, I do make an assumption they might not have a long life given you have to beat a lot of brush in them but I could be proven wrong. They are a little loud and swishy, but that's expected of rain gear from me. they don't weight much and pack down small so they will be with me on every backpack hunt (backcountry or front county) moving forward. I only gave 4 stars because I haven't gotten to beat them up in the field yet

Like the pants alot. Fit great and great to walk in.Would like them to be tougher even if weight needs to be sacrificed. Perhaps a gator style lower. Ripped lower cuff bad.

I have not worn the pants in the rain yet and assume they will function properly. All of my Sitka pants are 32s so I ordered the mediums in the Dew Point pant. I tried them on over my Timberline pants and they were just too tight. I re-ordered the larges and they were perfect. I am 5'9 160 pounds and wear a 32x32 pant.

Recently purchased these to fish in during rainy days. They work great! Competed in a 9 hour Bass Tournament and it rained steady all day. I was sitting and standing (up and down moving from place to place). It was 70 degrees and very windy. I had them on all day over long pants and stayed comfortable and 100 percent dry. I am 6'2' and weigh 240 pounds. I ordered the XL to be able to wear them over pants, or shorts when wet. They fit perfect! In fact, they fit so well and were so comfortable, as well as looking nice, they could be worn with nothing under them. Definitely worth the $$$ to stay dry and comfortable all day!!!

Very disappointed with the length. The Large Tall size needs to be about 2 inches longer. Pants are a little noisy but they are very light and pack down well. If they fit like the tall sizes of other Sitka products I would give them a 5.

Great rain pant if you want something pack-able. They are loud and I would only wear these in the rain when sound isn't an issue. Biggest problem is fit. If you are over 5'10' you'll likely need the large tall and people over 6'2' may find the large tall too short. When you first try them on they will appear to fit, but sit down and cross your leg and you will see how short they are.

I'm extremely disappointed in the durability of these pants. I live in Southeast Alaska where it's brushy and have used these pants on a few hunts. Each time I have worn these pants they have sustained one or more holes/tears from bushes. I honestly can't believe these are marketed as hunting pants unless the only research they did was having someone sit in a tree stand on a rainy day. Needless to say I'm out $300 bucks. If your going to be doing any kind of hiking during your hunt think twice before buying these overpriced paper bags.

Purchased these a few weeks back and have been very pleased. I’ve only had the chance to wear them 3-4 times but they’ve functioned flawlessly, especially when we caught the tip of the last hurricane. Wish I had these last spring summer. If you’re looking for a light and packable rain pant for moderate weather, this is it. The only downside is no pockets. The full leg zips give you easy access to your pants underneath but it would be great if they had two or three zippered pockets…

This is just a review on size. I'm 6'4' and weigh 205. I took my measurements and my waist measured 37' (when trying on sitka clothes a 34' fits my waist comfortably and I don't need a belt) my clothes I buy size 34 shorts or size 36 pants and use a belt because 34' pants are usually too tight everywhere else. My inseam is 36'. i bought LT and they fit great around the waist. I can even put them on over another pair of pants and still fit good. The only thing that could make them better is if they were about an inch or two longer on the inseam, walking/still hunting they will work good and just standing they cover and go down onto my boot great; however, sitting, kneeling, or stepping high going over logs or up steep mountains the bottom of the pants do come up to the top of my hunting hiking boots or just above. The dew point LT pants inseam measures 34', if the tall size inseam was 35 or 36' i would give it 5 stars.

I have the old gen dew point and love them. The durability isn’t the greatest if your walking through heavily wooded areas. Was thinking about ordering the new ones and found they don’t have pockets. Why would you get rid of them. They’re one of my favorite things about the dew point. My current ones have two sets of waterproof zippers on each side. My garmin Montana 700 fits perfectly. I already carry enough on my upper body. I don’t want to unzip my pants just to get something out of my pocket. Hope they bring pockets back soon.

Love this our as an outer layer for snow or rainy conditions. I've been using them over the Mountain Pants for deep snow and temps ranging from 5-25°F. Wish they had some pockets but it’s fine unzipping and then unzipping again to use the Mountain Pant's pocket's when layering. Great pant!

I'm an avid backpacker and these pants are amazing! They fit over my hiking pants/shorts easily. They keep me dry and protect me from the elements. They're are also so lightweight which is crucial for a backpacker. I love vents in these pants too. I highly recommend them!

Just got back from a moose hunt in New Foundland. It rains, drizzles, and fogs almost everyday. I have to say after doing a lot of research, I finally went with the Dew Point system. It was incredible. It really would have been miserable if I had gotten wet for the amount of hours I spent out in the field. It kept me dry in every situation...no BS. It also was very rugged. I walked through the thickest brush you could imagine for 5 straight days for 12 hours a day. It was impressive. Hope this helps you make a decision.

Loved everything about this pant....except the durability. We were hiking in the wet nearly every morning, so nearly every morning it was the Dewpoint pant over a baselayer. The fit was great, they were comfortable to walk in, light, fast drying, and did a great job of venting my sweat, and there was lots of it on our daily 1500'-2000' climbs. However, after one hunt, they have two good sized holes. Sure, I gave them a pretty good workout. There was lots of brush and some deadfalls, but I was purposefully careful on the deadfalls as my budget is small and I knew what these things cost. Listen, I get it, trying to design a pant that does everything this one does that I stated above, plus is packable, lightweight, AND durable is like trying to find a unicorn. I'm not sure there is anything else Sitka can do with this pant. But, I can't drop $300 for a new rain pant on every hunt. I guess in the future I'll have to deal with a bit more bulk and less breathability and just get a cheaper pair that is more durable.

Great lightweight rain pants! I ordered the size large and they fit perfect over my size 36 R mountain pants. There is enough room for me to have my thick puffy pants on underneath them too. The built in belt is a great feature. My only complaint is I wish they had a single pocket that they could pack themselves into but that is a wish, not a deal breaker. These pack down extremely well and they weigh close to nothing.

Extremely Light, Easy to put on, great to store in pack. Love this system for wet/windy conditions. minor noise for Archery purposes, but not as loud as I thought it would be (Only minor Con). Still gets the job done well. Sitka continues to set the tone for hunting essentials. Cant wait enough good things.
