Spectacular

I’ve been really impressed with Sitka. I received a set of their rain gear as a tip from a client, and after some use the zipper stopped working. I reached out expecting a bit of a process, but their customer service was excellent—quick response, no hassle, and they sent me a replacement right away. What really stood out was how easy they made it. No runaround, just solid support. On top of that, the gear itself performs great in wet conditions. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind their product like that. I’ll definitely keep buying Sitka. As a guide I recommend Sitka all the time, over anything else. My favorite saying is 'when you buy something else it just makes your Sitka product more expensive. '

Great protection from water

Although I have a few different Sitka rain gear options, this new set is dedicated to my fishing boat. I no longer have to worry about water splashing while moving from fishing spot to fishing spot or when caught in a storm.

Great fabric weird cut

Heavy waterproof pants that hold up to abuse in brush. 3/4 zip makes it easy to get them on with boots. The cut is just weird. Super baggy butt and tight calves. It would also be amazing to have an integrated gaiter which these do not have.

Dew Point Pro Pant

I've not had a chance to try these our, but the Dew Point Pro Pant (Rain Pants) seem to be very well made. They have the weight and feel of a professional piece of rain gear and you won't mistake these for some kind of "packable" rain gear. I normally try items on at local sporting good stores, but I couldn't find these so took my chances. They seem to fit just a bit small in the waist - at least to me, and while I normally wear a large in pants, I ordered an XL to ensure I had enough room for clothing underneath - not my first rodeo (or rain storm!). :) Of the top four or five brands, I have found Sitka to be the top brand across the board - there are of course a few items where another of the top three brands may fit just a bit better or have characteristics that stand out from a personal perspective, but I have come to trust Sitka - they have not let me down!

Kept me Dry!!

Hunting in the PNW can be a wet adventure. Opening day of Elk this year it rained 2 1/2”!! If my boots could have kept me as dry as my Sitka Dew Point Jacket and Pants it would have been a great day! I bought both pants and jacket on the bigger side so I could layer underneath and it worked out great!

The pants first test was

The pants first test was a DIY caribou hunt in the Brooks range of Alaska. The weather would go from mist to rain to snow and back to sun. This allowed me to test the pants in several types of weather and wet environments that tough gear is a must. I was very impressed.

They work great for wet conditions! BUT you midoswell hoot your horn if you plan on walking up to any animal within a half km. Wished they had a quieter finish for the pricetag! Meeting you's halfway on rating.

Alaska-Grade

The perfect Alaska and Canada rain gear. It's super durable and can handle the brush and rocks. The cut, such as a longer coat tail and extended hood, are perfectly thought out for spending long hours, or days, sitting in the rain. It doesn't pack as small or light as the regular Dew Point, but being comfortable in the most uncomfortable weather is worth the little extra weight and space. It does run big, assumingly to fit other layers underneath and perhaps be more comfortable during long hours sitting??

Built for the storm

Just picked up the Sitka Dew Point Pro Bibs and I’m super impressed. Tougher than the originals with 75D fabric and reinforced knees, but still breathable and packable. Great fit, legit waterproofing, and smart features like full side zips and real pockets. Worth the extra weight for serious hunts.
