Great product

This product offers a good combination of light weight packability and rain protection. The fabric is fairly quiet for a synthetic material. This is my second set, the first had a defect in the hood draw string so that's why I gave 4 stars here instead of 5. One reason I buy Sitka gear is for the fit. Other brads are designed for a slim fit which does not match my body type very well. The more generous Sitka cut also offers a more room for different layers depending on the weather.

Item remplace but not de same fabric

I’m happy to have received the replacement pants under warranty. However, the model has changed since I purchased my set, and the fabric no longer matches my jacket. As a result, my outfit is no longer coordinated.

Changed

Completely changed from previous year design. Had even contacted Sitka about change. Previous year had insulated liner, new current version has none and feels thin. Likely resulting in tearing when out in the field.

Not worth the cost

I used the downpour pants for three days. A small hole was near the zipper that I did not notice. The zipper caught and pulled loose at the hole. I was assuming there wouldn't be an issue given Sitka's reputation. After returning the pants I was told they would repair the zipper for $240-278 dollars. For a zipper. I do expect a lot of my gear and i would not mind paying a reasonable amount for a repair but ¾ of the purchase price for a zipper is just uncalled for. I am really disappointed.

Terrible rain gear

I have the tops and bottoms rain gear with the inner brown lining, two zippers on the legs of the pants, the tops have no under arm zippers. This is quite possible the worst rain gear I have ever worn, don't even think of moving in this stuff, you will drown from the inside out. The "look cool" factor is there but that's as far as it goes, a premium price tag for junk, stay far away from this stuff please. I can't see the 4 stars after reading these reviews unless sitting you're in a chair all day, even then you're better off with a rubber ducky yellow plastic rain coat and pants for 20$ I don't know what the test criteria is for this stuff but it ain't hunting, maybe looking "cool" next to the pickup picture "cool" but it ain't hunting sad to say again.
