Typical Sitka-quality piece, but needs a couple tweaks…
Like all Sitka gear/clothing (and I should know, because I’ve basically taken out a small loan over the past 3 seasons to totally revamp my hunting wardrobe w/a crap-load of Sitka pieces), the Drifter Duffle shares the same Sitka quality that fans have come to expect. I’ve had the 110L bag for a couple years now, but I needed another smaller bag to contain my overflow of Sitka pants and shirts that wouldn’t quite fit in the big Drifter. The 50L Drifter fit the bill perfectly. The bag, in all sizes, is well constructed, unquestionably durable and makes use of its space pretty efficiently. However, I do find them a little bit of a nuisance to zip and unzip. Construction-wise, the zipper is rock-solid, but the sewn-in “flap” on the outer edge of the Drifter’s “lid” or top that covers the zipper all the way around the lid, makes it a little cumbersome to open and close. Also, for me personally, I find the bag a little cumbersome to open and access its contents when the hand-carry straps are velcroed together. Neither of these issues is a deal breaker for me. The quality build and aesthetics of the Drifter Duffle far outweigh any minor inconveniences I may personally find in its design. In typical Sitka fashion, the Drifter Duffle is a well-built and fine-looking product that fills a need every deer hunter inevitably contends with…STORAGE!…not perfect, but darn useful and built to last for many deer seasons to come. Great heavy duty feeling bag
Great heavy duty feeling bag that holds more than expected. I’m about to get my Delta Wading Jacket, alpha fleece hoodie, Dakota Hoodie, wader pants, a base layer, and a traditional hoodie in this bag with room to spare. Also a couple nice zip pockets for my gloves and socks.

This duffle is great for taking all your hunting gear to camp. Don’t have to worry about anything getting wet inside. Plenty of room and pockets. Backpack straps are a nice feature and is a great option when you are unloading all your gear at camp. First class Sitka product as usual.

Basic design is wonderful. 75L is large enough for most of my weekend hunting travels. Waterproof was a must and removable backpack straps are easy on and off. . I even carried a 15 lb boat anchor in it and it handled with ease
