Pretty solid mid season pant, definitely need something warmer for late season white tail.

Love the fabric, dump pockets are nice and the new pull tabs have lasted more washes than the original knotted cord versions. I agree that they could’ve put mesh behind the vent zips but i think the extra fabric would’ve chafed, so I’m fine showing off my underwear a bit if it’s that hot outside. great do everything pant

Excellent versatile pants for mid season

These things are great for a mid weight pant. I threw some heavy weight merinos I der and I was good for a decently cold day (think high 30s and 40s in Alabama).

Another winner

These pants fit great and are very durable. While testing these out I got splashed with mud and wiped some snow on it. When I returned and told the story there was no mud. Great pants but my wife thinks I makeup stories now to justify my purchases.

I've only worn the pants

I've only worn the pants seven days but so far I really like them. Side zips are great - just like someone else mentioned, they are similar to the mountain pants. Fit is great. I'm 6' 200lb and a 34 is just right for me. I think they are a pant you can wear Seotember-May. I'll try and remember to update the review come spring time after I've put them through an entire hunting season.

I have really grown accustom to the diagnol pockets of the equinox guard pant, but I like the traditional cargo style pocket of these with the 'ID card' pocket inside of the right pocket. I really like that the hand pockets zip so that I can secure car keys.

Good all around pant. Seem durable, quiet, and thought out well. Thought I'd miss traditional pants pockets but I don't. The front pockets on leg definitely fit the bill better for hunting.

Nice comfortable base layer for most cold climates. Then a perfect knock around pant for deer camp during the non-hunting times.

Awesome pants for hiking

Fit great and functional! I love the heat dump zippers and rubberized waist keeps them perfectly comfortable on those long hikes in. Ive put dozens of miles on them already.

Lighter weight than expected

I'm not as impressed with this pant as I thought I would be. The material is very lightweight. The zipper pulls are disappearing, just coming undone and falling off. My toes catch on the knee pad pockets as I put them on. The cut is too full through the legs, almost flaps around like bell bottoms.

Fit great 32r. I'm 175 lbs 5ft 10 and I love the knee pads. The only thing I would say i wish they made a pant with a fleece or some sort of insulation for cold weather hunting for whitetails with knee pads. I got the cover and elvated.

I hunt in north Florida and these pants have been my go to lately. I’m writing this from my stand! The equinox guard have been my all time favorite. These feel more durable and I like the horizontal from thigh zips rather than the angled zips. I’d like to see the side zips have mesh behind them but other than that they are solid. The fit very well and are true to size.

Great garment, but the zippers on the side (for air flow and for adding knee pads) makes the pants appear wide and bulky. The zippers seems very long and must be for adding/removing the knee pads (not included), as there is no mesh that would keep bugs out (if for air vent)

Great pants and fit

These are phenomenal as 3 season pant. I have quite a few pairs of grinders and they are great but I find them to be too warm in the late spring , summer and early fall. These fill that void nicely. Only downside is I wish they were offered in marsh and timber camo.

Solid pants, great fit and durrability. Love the hip vents for long walks in/out. The knife pouch is in a bad location for saddle hunters who like to carry a knife, and putting your knife in the zippered front pockets is loud and defeats the purpose of the zipper. Wish they came with the knee pads, and that the zippers were quieter.

Fits great. Comfortable. Great pocket locations. My most favorite pant for the early season.

Great early season pants. Kneepads

Great early season pants. Kneepads are excellent and aren’t noticeable while stalking and work great for kneeling or of sitting in the saddle. Pockets are well thought out.

Good pant, but…

This is a good lightweight pant that is breathable for early season and fits great. However, the zippers are noisy and clink when walking. I ended up removing the pull cord, cutting the metal pull tabs off with pliers and reinstalling the pull cord… they are much quieter when walking in/out of the woods now. Also, the zippered hip vents do not have a mesh backing, unlike the equinox guard pants, which allows debris and bugs to get in. I ordered some mesh and asked the wife to sew it behind the vents. With these improvements, they’re a good pant, just wish they came from the factory like this.
