I wore the hoodie in 102 degree Texas heat and I was surprised how cool it kept me!

Works as advertised. Dove hunted allday in 85 degree weather and stay cool.

Love the built in face/ head cover.

Excited to have this for bear hunting in Northern WI. It is still fairly warm climate and heavy mosquitoes. This should help protect me from the bugs and keep them off my head

Worth every penny if you have ticks and mosquitoes. I usually wear an extra large and this runs big which is fine because I will probably wear it as an outer layer until after frost.

The woven in bug repellent absolutely works. Here in northern Minnesota this is key. Easily the best piece of gear I’ve owned in recent memory.

This shirt is perfect for early season. Thin and breathable, but protects against mosquitoes. I'm 5'8 165 athletic and I ordered a small and fits amazing! My new favorite, I get the hype now!

This shirt is legit. While my travel partners got chewed by literally the worst bugs I’ve ever experienced I survived. My one buddy got so bitten up he got sick. I got a few… that’s it. It works and do much better than a bug net. You can actually see to wade and cast.

Equinox Guard

This is the second set of the equinox guard I have purchased and as always I'm pleased with the performance, comfort, and insect protection this system provides. The first hoodie I purchased was a large in subalpine and it fit bigger than expected, so I ordered the medium in the cover and it fits perfectly.

Bow season hasn’t started yet so haven’t put it to the test yet. In the south, breathable and insect repellent sounds amazing

Very delicate

If you plan on using this shirt for anything don’t. One shooting session to zero a rifle and I saw a bunch of loose threads and snags on the torso area. Sitka will also call this “wear and tear” and leave you to dry unless you want to buy a new shirt.

Equinox Hoodie

Lightweight, thin, breathable and very comfortable. Can act as a sun shirt for summer fishing or an early season hunting hoodie. The hood has a mesh face covering that will come in handy for hot summer days when bugs are everywhere.

So far ok. Definitely works good with the bugs. Great warm weather piece. Like some things I have had issues with Sitka the sleeves are way too long and baggie.

Best warm weather hoodie

This hoodie does amazing in warm weather, I use it for early deer season, elk season and turkey season in the spring. It’s not 100% going to keep the insects off you but it definitely helps and just one more tool to use. I wear this shirt probably more than any other that I own from Sitka l. The guard line is definitely a favorite

Bought this hoodie for turkey hunting and just for a sun shirt and it works really good. This was worth the buy.

Love this hoody for summer

I run hot, this did great for me on a fishing trip with heavy bugs. Pairs well with a Sitka mid layer vest when it starts getting cold.

Ditched the thermacell

I haven’t hunted in this yet but I have been wearing the guard series pieces around my property while setting cameras, hanging stands ect and I no longer need to worry about a thermacell running out of fuel or wicks or the light going out.

My go to base layer

This hoodie is always in my system. My favorite part is how much the material stretches. FYI this used to fit big, Sitka fixed that and is now true to size.

Great piece of hunting gear.

They’ll probably advertise more as a fishing top, this is a great compliment to my hunting kit. On those warm summer days, it provides great some protection and breathability and keeps me nice and cool. And keeps the doctors from finding any skin cancer. :)

It is light weight. I am between size and 2xl is big on me. No worries. Main thing is no ticks after walking several miles through the woods.

The mosquitoes have been terrible this year and we've tried everything. Once we got these hoodies we haven't gotten any bites, I just need to grab the gloves now.

Insect repellent ++

I was skeptical but this hoodie really works. I am testing it right now as my grandsons fish a farm pond at dusk. I had bugs on the back of my hand crawl away from my wrist toward my fingers. The hoodie is lightweight and fits me well. I can't wait to try this hoodie next spring for turkey season.

The fit is excellent! I'm glad I was able to grab one of these for summer coyote hunts, or even earlier fall time. Before it gets cooler outside.

Just what I was looking for

Nice fit. Breathable. Looking for an early-mid hunting season solution that would be able to keep pace for 6-10 mile daily movement. The integrated hood and mask are solid. The hood works wonders from the sun and the mask provide a nice complete seal to the eyes limiting the need for paint. Size was true and comfortable not an athletic tight fit like under armour type. First time purchase and am happy. Will be back.
