Equinox Guard Hoodie Reviews

No More Mosquitos

Where we hunt there out millions of mosquitos. After getting these i haven't been bit since. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! They need to start making a youth size. Feel sort of bad for my kids when they are being eatin' alive... :)

Absolutely my favorite summer shirt!

Absolutely my favorite summer shirt! The cool fabric is like nothing I’ve had before. The insect repel is just icing on top!

Light weight

Very light and definitely kept the hugs away

Equinox guard hoodie

I love mine it's good I had to order a large because I am 5 ft 11 150 lb but wide across the shoulders

Great light weight skin

Great light weight skin

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Great material and protection for working or hunting in warm weather. Kept the insects at bay. A little larger than normal.

Best shirt ever

Super comfy! Love the built in mask

Best Early Season Hoodie

I bought this hoodie mainly for early wood duck/teal season in Missouri and KY. Hoping to get a little use for turkey season as well. I have had the Equinox Guard pants for a season or two now and haven't had the first tick on me. This hoodie did run a little big. I'm 6'0" 190 and the medium fits me really good with extra room.

Hoodie

Lightweight

No more bites

This is my second shirt. One for hunting season and got a blue one for keeping away mosquitoes at the beach!

Bug proof

Fantastic product. I live in SW Florida and do a lot of fishing in the mangroves. Keeps the mosquitoes and no-see-um’s from getting me.

No mosquitoes

Jacket is not hot and works great !!

Love it!

I love these shirts, it fits well, it works perfect and feels extremely comfortable. For me it covers a large range of temperatures and is one of my go to shirts from August to May.

Happy customer

Fits nice and looks great. Can’t wait to get it out in the woods for Bear opener.

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Lightweight and comfortable. Fitted in the right spots to not be boxy.

Great Product sizing needs some work

Normally wear a Large or XL had to order a medium.

Versatile and comfortable

Great 3 season piece with lots of well thought out convenient add-ons. Just got back from a trip to Alaska and this thing performed admirably. I’m 5’10” 150# and a medium just about always fits me up top from Sitka.

Color is off

Material is great. This is my second equinox hoodie. I bought a second in subalpine color. It is darker than I expected and have seen in other pieces. I wanted it for the more green color for early season duck marsh. It will work for early bowhunting and late turkey season so I'll keep it for that.

Fantastic lightweight hoodie

This piece is great in its own and it will definitely be being used as a base layer for me in the fall and winter. The built in face mask is such a cool extra detail. Fits a little big.

This is a great fitting

This is a great fitting Hoodie.

Awesome

Feels awesome so cool

Mosquitoe RESISTANT

I had high hopes for this shirt hunting in North Florida. It definitely kept the majority of the mosquitos away. It did not prevent ALL bites. I recently came back from a trip to Northern Wisconsin and had two of them I wore while fishing at our cabin. Mosquitoes were horrible and I did get bit a few times. Again, the majority did not get through. It has been really hot (85-95 degrees) and the shirt has performed well in the heat. 4 stars because I had high expectations on the mosquito prevention. I wear a large in all other Sitka and this one is a medium. This shirt runs big.

Keeps skeeters off!

I dont know how, but it does work.

Great product

Top of the line

Love it

It’s really nice love the product. Bugs do stay out. Size for me fits me tight on me which I like. Enough to put a wife beater on and call it a day

Stellar

Great product. Exactly what keeps me coming back to Sitka for all my hunting clothing

Nice hoodie

Helps me perfectly to regulate amount of insulation i need in specific situations.

Quality and functions as promised

I’m 6’4 230.. ordered a xl and fit well..This suit is perfect for scouting and early season. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great addition.

Ordered these with the bug repellent. Was out in the deep woods with the whole suit and only got one bite and it came through the side of the hood by my sunglasses…..and everyone else got, let’s just say lots lol!

Great early season/turkey jacket

Lightweight, breathable, and bug repelling...everything you need for early season whitetail as well as turkey season. Very happy to add these to the collection!

Equinox Hoodie

Fit is good, but haven't worn it in the field yet. That's the reason for 4 stats.

Hot weather gear

The fabric is very thin which being down here in Florida is fantastic. Keeps the mosquitoes in the sun off, but it is very thin and I like that.

New favorite shirt

Absolutely love this shirt. Works in a number of conditions. All the way from hot af to chilly. Protects your skin. I love the insect protection as well. Gonna wear this thing until it has holes in it. I was slightly worried about the face mask being annoying in super hot weather, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Great to have the option there if I wanted to use it. Ordered a medium and fits great. I’m 5’5” and 150 pounds. Average body type.

Meah

It’s a microfiber hoodie. It’s nice, but not $150 nice.

Great gear

Awesome

CMF

Best sun shirts I have found!!

Great Piece of Clothing

I have numerous Equinox hoodies and love them all. They are great for layering or just wearing as an outer piece depending on the weather.

Useful

The guard hoodie works. The mosquitos and flies have been brutal this year so far. I used a different product for one trip and I am still scratching the bites on my neck and shoulders. With the equinox I haven’t experienced the bite through as before. The hood is deep enough to catch the brim of my hat, staying in place. The face mask rocks to cover my face and helps some with sun protection. I’m running three hoodies so far scouting.

Love the shirt

Shirt is both lightweight and breathable. It’s an awesome teal season piece but I don’t think the insect repellant part of the shirt to be all that great. Still had plenty mosquitos biting me through the shirt but then again I’m always the one fighting mosquito's.

I haven't been able to

I haven't been able to test this system against bugs yet. The shirt runs big. I had to exchange the hoodie for a smaller size. I'm 5'08, 185 athletic. I was swimming in the Large shirt. Medium fits much better.

Awesome product

Light weight and works great against the mosquitos. Hood and face net are nice as well.

Works great. Very thin material.

Perfect fit. Extra breathable. Zero bug bites

Must have fishing apparel

Loose enough for comfort but snug enough to do its job

Insect Guard

It works

Great item.

Can't wait to use it this fall. I love the material and fit

Outstanding

Perfect for that Florida heat and the bug shield works great
