Haven't tested them in the field, but tried them on and true to size and feels very comfortable. Would like to put a comment out there for you Sitka, on the equinox line of gear. Would like to see the coyote brown color come back for the hoodie and also would like to see the marsh pattern added instead of just timber. Thank you Sitka gear! Turkey Magic

I tagged out on turkeys this year, which was my first year attempting to hunt them. No amount of scouting, or mouth call practice come close to how pivotal of a role these comfy pants played in my turkey slayage. They couldn't resist the style.

Best Turkey Pants

Worn them on all my hunts this spring. Only thing is they are a little warmer than the Grinders but I believe it’s because part of it is tucked in your sock.

Ticks Me Off

I live in tick country (northern MN) and require protection for months at a time. While these pants do not stop 100% they do a great job in combination with other protection to keep me safer. You won't go wrong with this purchase.

I purchased the top and the pants and gloves. I haven’t had a mosquito or tick on me yet this year hands-down the best turkey outfit I’ve ever ever had.

Good niche pant.

Good lightweight pant. Have not had any issues with critters up my pantlegs - built in cuffs keep things out. Lining of the pant has a grid-fleece type material that keeps pants from sticking to your legs. Purchased in solid gray and the liner material does give the pants a visible texture on outside - so I don't wear them on date night. But good looking hiking pant and haven't had any issues with ticks yet this spring.

Very comfortable and breathable. Fit is exactly what I wanted. I normally wear a 32x32 in Levi’s and these fit just a hair looser than those. Exactly what I wanted. The outer shell is a little soft for the thickets I hunt around, but if they were any thicker they wouldn’t be as breathable

I can't buy Sitka pants that fit my waist and inseam, I'm 6'0" 195lbs athletic build. I need a 37R waist with a 31-32 inseam. These pants with a 38R waist are 1"-1 1/2" too big around the waist and a good 2" too long in the inseam. This is the reason for 4 stars.

True to size, sadly that means the smallest size offered is just a tad to large for me.

I wish they had some back pockets. Other than that they are great. The knife pocket is a nice touch and works well. The vents actually do work as advertised cooling you down on a hot day.

I was on my second ever turkey hunt wearing these pants and the equinox hoodie on some public land yesterday for my second attempt at turkey hunting. I had a turkey walk right up the rivers edge all the way to 12 yards where he never made it a step further. He had no clue i was there walking right at me. Super comfortable pants and gear all around.

These pants are next level for comfort and mobility, they are quality gear with exceptional durability. I do wish they had a back pocket but there worth owning without one.

These are a must have. Fit good light weight. Only complaint is they’re a little warm but not too bad for evening hog hunts. I’ve wore them for 12 hr scouting in 85 degrees. It was warm but not unbearable. Definitely keeps the bugs off. East tx mosquitos are nasty and this set keeps them off.

The built in guard in the leg is a great idea for keeping ticks from climbing up. It would have been great a little farther towards the foot.

Didnt work how i thought

I wore these a week ago while shed hunting and today i put them on and found 2 ticks in them. They didnt work how i thought they would, and for the price i guess i just expected more

Work as Advertised

Love these pants. Just used the Equinox Guard pants and hoody on a Texas turkey hunt. No chiggers, no ticks, and comfortable. I’m buying an additional pair just for hiking and camping. Highly recommend!

Great pant, runs small

Very comfortable. Hiked with dogs, dogs had 11 ticks on them I had zero. Definitely run small. I am 6’2 with wider hips, had to get tall 38 so they didn’t fit like spandex. If you lift weights go bigger.

Best hiking pants

Great design, well built and comfortable. These are my favorite hiking pants as they keep the bugs and ticks away.

Fit well. Feel nice. Have not gotten to try them in a mosquito (or other insect) heavy area at this point. Good for warmer weather.

Almost Perfect!

I really love these during turkey season, though they should have a kneepad build in for us run and gun style hunters. The material is very think and provides zero cushion when crawling. Basically combine these with the mountain pant and you've got a 5 star product
