2nd favorite Sitka Piece

I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying to find alternatives to gear I don’t have to think about, just hunt. This is one of them. It’s comfortable, durable, quiet, repels bugs, fits well.

Sweet design!

Very comfortable, pant length is long, waist is accurate. Love the double zipper, thigh pockets with ventilation are clutch, and ankle gators make these pants next level. Only improvement would be to offer a short option.

Early season pants

They arrived in a timely manner and fit true to size. Lightweight pant and the "guard" feature is nice. This is new to me but I believe they should be effective.

Equinox Guard Pant

Excellent pants! Just like everything from Sitka, the quality is amazing. I love the front pocket design. When I'm on stand I'm not sitting on my wallet or anything else I might put in my pocket.

I own two pair of these and they are almost perfect. I wish they had removable kneepads, and then they would be the ultimate hunting pant.

Purposeful pants!

Great pants! Pocket design is well thought out and functional. Built-in gaiter system is so appreciated. Lightweight features, and heat-dumping design are as advertised. Love them and will be getting another pair!

Very comfy, lenght and fit is good, and surprisingly warm for all the thicker they are. I own two pairs of different patterns and love them! Size 38 tall

They work! I wore them for archery season in Virginia, not a single chigger or tick was found! Very comfortable and quiet.

Excellent warm season pant

The Equinox Guard Pant is part of my warm season set-up…whether turkeys in the spring or early bow season in the fall, these pants are comfortable, lightweight and breathable. The ankle gaiters are a great design to keep ticks and chiggers at bay. Highly recommend this pant!

These are great early season pants!

The features for tick prevention are well thought out. The internal gaiters give to option to tuck into socks use something other than rubber boots. I also love the permanent insect shield treatment, very effective at bug prevention. They are less stretchy than other Sitka pants which does impact the comfort for me. All in all well thought out and high quality. I like all Sitka products I have used.

These pants were super comfortable and warm. I loved them however I had to send them back. There was nothing wrong with the pants other than they didn’t have any rear pockets. If they would have made these pants with the rear pockets they would have been perfect. I also was a bit concerned that if I washed them they’d shrink, my concern was based off of previous experience with Sitka pants and materials similar to the ones in these pants. I never washed them since I sent them back.

Equinox Guard Pants

Great product. I use for grouse hunting when the bugs are thick and they worked great. Also just wore under chaps for a pheasant hunt in Iowa and they were very comfortable.

Great pants. The waist was a little small for a size 32. I’d get a 34 next time but they are great lightweight early season hunting pant.

Everything I thought they'd be

I purchased these Equinox Guard Pants - along with the Guard hoody and gloves - for early season archery deer hunting as I was concerned about tick and mosquito bites. The pants fit true to size, and seemed to shed most of the "sticky things" that tend to adhere themselves to clothing while you're moving to and from the blind. They provided the protection from the sun and winged critters I was looking for, fit comfortably, wash up easily, and look great (at least the Mrs. thought so), which made choking down the price tag a little easier. Cry once, amIright? For my stated purposes, they worked great and I highly recommend these pants.

Stops Mosquitoes and ticks

After many years of battling mosquitoes, I purchased the pants, hoody and gloves for early deer season, expanded archery in Maine. Zero complaints. This system keeps mosquitoes from eating you alive, and keeps the deer ticks off.

Wore these pants for bow and teal season in Louisiana. Breathes great in hot weather and the insect guard definitely is effective between the pants and top! 10/10 would recommend.

Tore first time I fell

Love the pants, but slipped dragging a deer out and the pants ripped a hole. This was only the second time I had them on and the first and only abuse the received. I expected a little more durability.
