Great fit and fit true to size 40-32

Let down

The pants I order fit in the waist and length, however they were way too tight in the kegs and around the angle. Skinny jeans style. I liked the quality of pant but fitment was terrible.

Everyday pant

The pants are too skinny at the bottom for my liking. There was no option for 30 length with a 34 waist which would have fit better. The pants are comfy and I do like the material. I won't buy another pair.

Skinny Jeans?

I'll start with the good. The quality is on par with what I expect from Sitka. The construction and stretch are good. The pockets are good sized. The fabric is soft to the touch, which is nice for an 'everyday' pant. The waist and length are true to size. Now, the not so good. They are skinny jeans but they are not advertised as such and do not appear to be skinny jeans in the marketing (maybe those guys skip leg day?). And they get tighter when they are washed. They loosen up a bit after a couple wears, but then get tight again every time they go through the wash (even when washing with cold water and drying on tumble dry-low). I am not a big guy (5'-11", 175 pounds). I wear a 32x32 in Wranglers Strait Cut just fine. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't like my pants hugging my legs and crotch. I just wish they had described them as skinny, or tight fitting, or tapered in the marketing. Or at least let us more muscular guys know they would be tight. Oh well. Also, the fly is a bit small. I can barely get my hand in and out of there to do my business. I really wanted to like these since they were a gift from my wife for Christmas, but I took the tags off, wore them, and washed them. Now they're mine, or maybe I'll find some skinny-legged man or guy who likes pants that fit like a woman's to gift them to. . . jk, I'll probably keep them, but you get the point.

Run small

I usually wear a 34x34 in pants. I’m guessing I should have ordered a 36 or 34T rather than the regulars to maybe give me some more room. The pants are constricting/tight on my legs. I have other pairs of Sitka pants in the 34r’s that do not fit like these.

Everyday pant review

Over the years I have come to own a lot of Sitka gear. Love just about all of it for hunting so I started expanding into the everyday/non-camo line. I purchased a couple of pairs of everyday pants on sale. Here’s what I think; comfortable - perfect combination of durability and slight stretch, nice colors, really love the dedicated knife pocket, and for the most part really comfortable. The reason I say for the most part is because they are a little long for me. In Sitka pants I need “short” not “regular” fit. That was never an issue with hunting pants because they are in my boots. But for everyday wear (especially if I just have like flipflops on), they’ve too long. Other than that, they’re great.

Perfect pants

Bought these pants for hiking. Perfect weight. It was a cool mid thirty day with some wind. The pants kept me warm and I did not sweat too much. Got in the car for an hour drive a was still very comfortable even though I had to crank up the heat for the other hiker. Highly recommend.

shrinkage

the pants shrink everyplace but the rear end. I have a pretty athletic build but the rear end is still pretty loose on these.

Good for office, fishing, bar hopping, and general galavanting

tapers a bit at the ankle, good for boat shoes and flippies. Would be interesting to try and wear western boots with them. Either I've put on 5lbs or these run a bit small. . . . I think 5lbs is more probable. The everyday ripstop version are like the old summer BDUs. . . . I like them a lot as well. Wife likes them a lot :)

Great Pants Weird Fit

I love everything about these pants but the fit in the thighs. They get really baggy and awkward fitting after wearing and especially sitting for a while.

I have bought 3 pairs of these pants. They are all different. Different weight in material. Different fit. How hard is it to make the same item??? Loved the first pair! Then it was all down hill from there.

5-10 190 slightly athletic build. (34R) For me the fit is great, it’s got room in the right areas. I wear these around town and stay comfortable. Only wish is that they also made these in bootcut-hopefully in the future 😀

Tight Legs

I’m having to return these because the legs are very skinny and too small at the bottom to wear with boots. Otherwise, they are a great fit.

Loved first, second order too small

Had I written this review after my first pairs of these pants, I would have given 5 stars. Loved them and still love the ones from my first order (faded though they may be). Apparently the second set (purchased within the past 6 months) either had some QC issues regarding sizing, or they deliberately made them smaller. They fit like disco pants, which isn't something I wear. Likely will donate them given I am past the return date. Oh, I haven't gained or redistributed weight in the interim.

Not a Fan - Wrinkle Badly

I am generally a Sitka fan. Unfortuantely, these pants fall short on my expectations While the fit and confomfort is fine, they WRINKLE horribly when getting them out of the dryer. I would recommend to steer away from these pants unless you like to iorn and iron a lot!
