All expectations met from quality of materials, workmanship, and fit. Everything I've ever owed from Sitka has been very durable so I expect that will be the case with this product.

Fanatic Hoody

I am 5’6” 135-140lbs and a medium fits perfectly. Very comfortable to wear and layers nice under a traverse jacket.

top of the line. fits great. Both the bib and hoodie have just enough extra room. hunting gear shouldn't fit too snug but should have some room.

I’m a fanatic for this hoodie

I ordered the Fanatic hoodie for elk and other big game hunting in the Southwest due to its claimed versatility in cold to milder climates and wow was Sitka spot on. I’ve worn the Fanatic in temperature ranges from 35- 60 degrees so far and have been completely comfortable during both. I could easily pair this with a warm outer layer and go into the 20s or wear it as a stand alone piece unzipped and enjoy the warm early-mid season conditions we have down here. Very happy with my purchase.

Sitka Gear

This hoody is great. Perfect for the walk in to the stand and then put a outer layer over it. Very warm for being thin material.

The ultimate mid layer

I wear this hoody when it’s 40-50 degrees out and layer it when it gets colder. It’s super comfortable and I love the thumb holes. It runs small so size up…

Fanatic Hoodie

Fits good. Like the cuff to mitten design. The kangaroo pocket needs to be sewn up an inch or two or u cannot out anything in it but your hands. Only real flaw in it.

Solid base layer

The whole fanatic system is amazing but the fanatic hoodie works very well by itself or as a base layer. I like that it comes in subalpine and elevated II so you can use it for varying times of the year. It’s made with very high quality material and should be considered for any cold weather system.

I’m an archery elk hunter and an eastern whitetail and turkey hunter. I think the fanatic hoody will get a lot of use in all of those pursuits. This hoodie is well thought out and very comfortable.

Great piece

I think this is a great hoody. It’s very similar in performance to the heavyweight hoody (my personal preference). The built in mittens didn’t work well for me and felt a little bunched up when worn under an outer layer. Regardless, it’s a great piece of gear!

Fanatic Jacket

I already had the Fanatic jacket in Elevated 2 but wanted one in solid color to wear casually. I'm very pleased with how lightweight it is but still provides a lot of warmth. I'm 6 feet 200 lbs. and the XL fits perfect.

Great all-around piece that I

Great all-around piece that I plan to use as a standalone top in spring turkey and early/late fall archery, and as a mid-layer when temps begin to fall during the winter months.

aside from fraying elastic on the trim of front pocket, i think it’s decent. For the price, i expect a little more. But it has great coverage, and is very comfortable. Amazing moisture wicking for those warmer early season walks to your stand. ive purchased 2 of these. one for my wife size small fits her perfectly one medium for me as a base layer fits perfect
