It’s a great hoody for

It’s a great hoody for tree stand hunting with the mask. The attached glove is a good concept but when not in use it bunches up by the wrist area. That’s what I don’t like about it.

Hoodie

This was my fourth fanatic hoodie. I’ve got the elevated, green and black ones and absolutely love them! Great for anything I do outdoors when it’s cool outside. I was excited to see it in subalpine so I bought one. Everything was great but the inside lining is white! If you’ve got it unzipped or you roll the hand warmer mitts up its way to bright! I didn’t want to return it but I never wear bright clothing hunting. I’m a little disappointed but everything else was great, just like all my Sitka stuff!

Fanatic hoody

This my by far my favorite layering piece under a Dakota hoody or Jetstream or stratus. I am an avid nighttime coyote hunter and occasional deer hunter and the fanatic goes on every hunt with me regardless the conditions

Not exactly what I thought, but I’m collecting Sitka so I’ll keep it.

The layer you need!!!

I use this as a mid-layer and this has been my favorite piece of gear. The built in face shield is perfect. For my head size (on the smaller side)… most face coverings are either too tight or way to loose and obstruct my sight. This hoodie also has longer sleeves that have a flip over piece for your fingers. Such a warm layer and a must have.

5’11 175lbs large is perfect. Warm enough for 40° mornings in Texas with a base layer. Built in face mask and front pocket are clutch. Only negative, the material snags easily.

All season go to gear

This piece is really comfortable. Great for outerwear, or layering in colder weather. The hood offers warmth and just the right amount of concealment.

Good stuff

I've only worn these in the woods once. Bought them for early season archery. They fit well, comfortable, good movement. The built-in mittens in the sleeves and face covering in the hood are very nice details.

Great mid layer

I bought this late in the season so I haven’t used it as a stand along garment on warmer days. But it is a great mid layer for colder hunts. Love the built in face mask as well as the thumb holes and mittens that fold over the fingers! I usually don’t wear gloves unless it is super cold, and having these attached to the shirt is great for those frosty mornings in the stand. Can’t wait to wear it as an outter layer next fall!

The fanatic line is great. The Wisconsin hunting season gets cold and sitka keeps me warm without the bulk or getting all sweated up.

Fanatic Hoody

I mostly hunt Florida and Alabama. Georgia some too. Florida during deer season can get into the 40s.. even 30s. Sometimes 20s in the early morning . But mostly it's in the 50s. Or it can be hot and humid. This hoodie wicks the sweat off. It keeps me warm enough without being too hot. I like the camo pattern.

exceptional design

In the past few years, I have revamped most of my hunting gear. It started with the Fanatic jacket and bibs and has continued with different items for layering. Each item is always a careful process of investigating the item, watching and reading reviews, and contemplating whether or not the purchase seems justified. Let’s be real! This stuff isn’t cheap!! However with each purchase, I find myself extremely happy that I’ve pulled the trigger. Each piece is exceptionally designed with function and fit for the hunter in mind. This Fanatic hoody is no exception. I expect it to be used heavily starting next fall.
