The Fanatic hoodie is an excellent midlayer, but I have a love/hate relationship with the sleeve/mitten/hand/knuckle cover. I love it because I rarely wear gloves. But I very much dislike it on the rare occasion that I do wear gloves, which results in too much fabric at the wrists with multiple layers.

I currently have the Traverse Hoodie and was looking for something a little less warm and the Fanatic Hoodie was definitely the answer! I wore it under my Fanatic jacket during the late season this past hunting season. It kept me warm and while walking to the stand, it regulated my temperature where I wasn't sweating. I was extremely satisfied using it while layering during winter hunts in the Kansas and during our recent record snowfall and single digit temperatures in Louisiana.
