Fanatic Jacket Reviews

Beat the cold

I used the Fanatic jacket, bibs and neck gator for a late season elk hunt. The last three days were single digit highs and windy. This stuff works. I sat 2 and a half hours in the mornings and evenings. I have been hunting in these temps for 40 years and I have never been so comfortable at 4 degrees.

Very warm late season

Very warm and extremely comfortable late season in Iowa. Late muzzleloader in Jan and stayed more than warm on a 3-4 hour sit. Could have gone much longer.

Quiet Heat

It’s warm, and quiet. Absolutely loved the late hunts with this. And for the size and warmth, it was very unrestricted too

Warm

The design is great and the jacket is really warm. I would recommend buying the Neck Gaiter as it gets a little drafty near the neck without a hood attachment. The Fanatic Jacket and Bibs are amazing overall.

This jacket is plenty warm

This jacket is plenty warm for conditions as low as 20-25 degrees with just two layers under it.

Very pleased

Well worth the money

The way the jacket is put together is absolutely perfect. Pockets, material, and comfort is top notch. I’m 6’ 3” 210lbs and I had to get the XXL. The XL would’ve fit just fine if you didn’t wear anything under it.

Perfect fit. Very warm down

Perfect fit. Very warm down to 15 degrees.

My son loves this jacket

My son loves this jacket more than the vest! Very warm. Don’t make noise. Took a bit to get use to the zipper placement but now it’s one of his favorite features.

The must have gear for colder hunts. Solid features and pockets and is very warm without excessive bulk.

Fanatic Jacket

Well made and unbelievably warm. I wore the Fanatic jacket and bibs this year in 30 degree weather with windy conditions. I was not even a little bit cold. I ordered a size up than normal for me to make room for layers of clothes.

Absolutely love all of my

Absolutely love all of my Sitka gear, awesome quality! Best money can buy!

Outstanding Performance

Bought this for late November and early December deer hunting in Minnesota. This year started off warm but I was finally able to test the jacket. 30 deg with a 5 to 10 mph wind and it worked prefectly. Never felt the cold or the wind. The front pocket is the best. I wear light gloves so I can feel the trigger. Never need to put hand warms in there. I will be using this during coyote season so hoping to test it in the 0 - 10 deg temps yet this year. I would recommend this to anyone that hunts in a stand in Minnesota temps.

Very warm and comfortable. Hunted in 14° blinding snow and was warm the whole time. Layering system is also important for this to work.

quiet and comfortable

great gear. on them cold windy days its warm and quiet. i can get deer to talk right under me and not hear me pull my bow back. only thing if anything would be if the arm length could be about a inch longer... but i do have long arms so i cant complain. all in all the gear is worth the money.

Needed a solid bow hunting jacket for sitting in cold weather without needing to layer underneath excessively. Quite material and good range of motion to draw back appropriately. Highly Recommend

Fanatic Jacket

Extremely warm, reasonably well designed, cross zipper takes time to get used to. bulky in the front pocket area. Sizes run pretty accurate

Tons of pockets and storage on this thing. I was tired of being cold so convinced my wife I needed this outfit. She won’t hear me say that anymore warm, quiet, and deer don’t smell it.

Fanatic Jacket

Awesome, works great during late season in North Dakota. Runs a little big in the chest area (only).

Fanatic Jacket

Love it! For someone that easily gets cold, this is a solid purchase. This paired with some layers will keep you warm into the single digits. The built in muff will keep your hands warm and comfortable all hunt. Throw some hand warmers in there and you are set.

Recommended to all my friends

I don’t normally like spending a lot of money on hunting clothes. But the fanatic set is my exception…it truly does change the game when sitting in a treestand. Very warm, very comfortable and the built in hand muff is a life saver! I have not tried any of the sets that are supposed to be warmer but after wearing this, I’m not sure I’ll ever have to!

Go to Jacket

The Fanatic line is the very best of Sitka's line up. Quiet, warm and keeps most elements out. Sitka is the last type of hunting gear I will ever need to buy. Best investment in clothing. I wish I could have enjoyed it many years ago. It would have saved me a lot of money.
