Great jacket! If you run hot or walk alot, it'll be too hot for you. Great for sitting for a long time in the cold! The wind won't touch you with this jacket!

FANATIC IS FANTASTIC

I purchased my Sitka fanatic system just before Thanksgiving. I have hundred and weather as low as 26° with the wind blowing 10 to 15 mph. I have never own gear that has kept me warm after sitting for several hours. Let's be real most higher quality brands brags of its warmth and durability but after setting for three or four hours you begin to really get cold to the Bone. !!!!NOT THIS GEAR!!!! If you were debating whether to make the purchase or not, just make it you will not regret it. I can't wait to continue using my fanatic system. My next purchase will be the fanatic gloves beanie and neck gator.

Warm and comfortable

Like the bib overalls, this jacket is a bit heavy and bulky but it is very warm and quiet with great range of motion and good front pocket-handwarmer.

The best winter whitetail jacket for staying warm in the blind or tree stand. The best feature is the middle pocket that acts as a muff. Well thought out pockets and ultra quiet. The best stuff out there. I am 5’11” 180lbs and I bought the XL so I could fit a bunch of layers underneath. If wearing less layers I would have bought the large for a more streamlined fit.

Best outdoor clothing on the market!

I have been spending ton's of money on hunting gear my whole life and I could never find the right gear, that is over when I discovered Sitka! I had the bibs that go with this jacket and they are awesome. I have some other lighter jackets that I was layering up with because I'm moving around when I hunt. On the bottom with the bibs I only would wear the bibs, so I figured I would get the jacket and eliminate all the other layers! It works great!

Can totally tell it was designed by hunters. Love the side zip for bow hunting. Built in muff, quick snap for harness strap and built in grunt tube holder. Extremely warm.

Fit is a little awkward

Fit is a little awkward due to the length and width of the jacket. Doesn’t blend well with the bibs but overall effective gear for the cold winter months.

Warmest I have ever been and love the pockets. Little snug but you only need to wear a light scent control under layer for even the colder hunts and you will still warm.

Fanatic Jacket

I previously owned the First Lite Solitude jacket and bibs. Both awesome pieces of gear, but the imperfections turned me to this system. The solitude zippers were loud, as well as the waterproof/windproof tag behind the zippers were extremely loud. My main gripe with the solitude was the high collar. It totally inhibited the use with a bow when the hood was up and zipper up to the top. The fanatic jacket solves all of these issues. The outer fabric is incredibly quiet, as well as all zippers. The collar is a great height, fitting underneath the jaw line. The body mapping is extremely well thought out. This jacket is close to perfect. The only change I'd make is pit zips for walks into and out of the stand.

Fanatic jacket

Love this setup. I live in Minnesota, have had extreme cold in it yet but I have been bowhunting in it down to 25F. Only down side is it takes forever to dry when washed.

This jacket is fantastic! Super quiet and warm. This is my new go to hunting jacket. Love all the storage pockets on the jacket and super easy to use with a harness when in the tree stand. Highly recommend!

The best

I’ve tried a bunch of different cold weather jackets, this one is the best by far, it does it’s job and keeps you warm. The hand warmer pockets are the best I’ve seen, don’t need heavy gloves when your using them. Only complaint: hand warmer pockets are a pain to use while sitting in my 180 max climber, made for standing I guess.

Price isn’t ideal but if you can catch it on sale it’s worth it for sure. Honestly if you’ve got a long walk into the stand don’t wear this cause you will be sweating once you get to your stand. It’s at it best on all day sets in brutal cold weather.

Worth every penny

This jacket paired with the fanatic bibs are the perfect cold weather combo. Very minimal clothing needed underneath to stay warm and comfortable all day long on a cold midwestern day. I always thought the zipper across the front was weird until I realized it allows you to draw your bow back without the jacket bunching up. The thinking that goes into the smallest things is what helps set Sitka far above the competition.

Best Hunting Clothing

I typically would buy lower grade hunting clothing and just layer better yet like triple layer. I felt like the kid from the Christmas Story..."I can't put my arms down." Now with this system, I am able to move freely and stay nice and toasty!
