Fanatic Vest Reviews

Fanatic Vest

Absolutely love the fit and like all Sitka Gear it’s top quality

Very warm

Can’t go wrong with this vest!

Perfect Vest

The vest is for our sin whi goes hunting. He loves it.

Worth it

I initially purchased this vest in an XL to wear over top of heavy clothing for cold weather. I recently purchased another on in a L to wear with lighter clothing underneath for temps from 50-60 degrees. This vest is a definite must. You can pair it with other camouflage underneath if you don’t feel like breaking the bank with a full on Sitka set up. Keeps your body core warm, and that’s what it’s all about when it comes to tree stand hunting in October/November/December.

Very warm, I can’t wait

Very warm, I can’t wait to wear this hunting season

Good but just not for me

Not a fan of the side/cross zipper and it runs bigger than expected. I’ll returning the vest. Made well just not my style.

Fanatic vest

Warm and fits to size!

Great piece

Just right for those chilly mornings. Definitely true to size.

Greatest vest out there

Hands down the best vest for an all day cold sit in the deer stand. Couldn’t live without it.

Looking forward to using this

Looking forward to using this in thw fall/winter in the Pennsylvania hardwoods!

Warmth + Mobility for late season bow

The silence and warmth of it only builds your confidence when you put it on!

Why

This vest is super warm and is one of my favorite pieces

Must-Have

So versatile, I have multiples

Warmest Vest Around!

I have the bibs and jacket as well. This product is next level warm. It blocks wind and keeps in the field longer and it creases your odds of bagging the game you are targeting.

Amazing warmth and comfort.

I have two of these in Elevated ll and cover, and I got my dad one. I wear it in late December and January during late season Illinois archery under my Fanatic Jacket. Your arms aren't restricted and it's super warm. A mist have for winter hunts.

Great alone or added with a jacket

Like having a warm comforter as a best. Comfortable and wind resistant. Lots of convenient pockets and layers well under winter jackets on those frigid hunts. Side zips helps when layering so you can sit or move with ease

very nice now have 2

This things great on top

This things great on top or as a thermal under layer.

Highly recommend

I purchased this vest for my husband (he couldn’t stop talking about it after he saw mine). The fit is perfect on both of our sizes, he got an XL to wear be able to layer comfortably, I have a M and it’s perfect over a sweatshirt and for layering. The vest is incredibly comfortable and warm. It makes bow hunting in colder temps more enjoyable.

Great for outer layering

I am 6’3 and weigh 200. With Sitka stuff, I fall in between L and XL with hoodies, shirts and jackets. With the Fanatic Vest, it is definitely an outer layering piece for me. If not layering underneath, L would have been perfect. I will probably wear this over my Stratus jacket when temps get in the 30s and below. If you are familiar with the jacket, all of the same features minus the sleeves.

It bigger then expected not

It bigger then expected not recommended the side zipper is very annoying but it is very warm

Best Cold Weather Decision

Works amazing over or under jackets. Great pockets for the essentials. Cuts the wind and keeps in your core body heat.

Never got to put it

Never got to put it into action this year, I needed it for the early part of the cold season when I was still bow hunting and my bow string was getting caught on the bulky sleeves of my fanatic coat. Tested it in the backyard though and it seems to be the solution so I look forward to putting it into action next year. I know it will keep my core warm based on how my coat is, what I don't know is whether or not my arms will freeze or not. Time will tell. I say fit runs true to size assuming that you know how bulky the material is and how that size all ready fits in the jacket. They definitely fit true to size but on the exterior they are a bit bigger so I would try them on and make sure you have adequate room to layer underneath. I typically size up on the fanatic stuff to layer a bunch underneath

Vest

Good gear

Love but fits a tad big

Great vest

Fanatic delivers

Warmest gear available!

Awesome vest

Warm, great fit, comfortable. Excellent quality. You should know that I spent 30 years in the outdoor industry and retired as the VP sales of The North Face from the Rockies to the east coast. Very familiar with gore and spend many years Developing products with them. I retired in 2000. My passions are fly fishing both fresh and saltwater and hunting. I’m a veteran of the Marines from the late 1960’s. So I thank you for using your veteran program

This is my favorite vest. The warmest and most well designed vest I have ever worn. If it’s cold, it’s what you should be wearing. An awesome piece of clothing.

Keeps you warm

Fanatic Vest

Perfect for treestand hunting. Warm and quiet for up close encounters.

Fanatic Jacket

Super quite, wind proof and built for bowhunting

Appears to be exactly what I’ve been been needing!

Unfortunately it’s been too warm in the South for me to wear yet, but I’m looking forward to when it’s finally cold enough to wear it versus my heavy jacket which limits my arm movement for bow hunting. My hunting buddy has had one for years and loves his.

Absolutely love this piece of

Absolutely love this piece of Sitka gear. Bow hunters dream!! Very warm, would recommend this piece to anyone. The fit is great it runs a little big but that’s perfect for layering purposes.

This vest was a game changer

Wore the vest over the Stratus jacket during an all day sit in 30 degree temps and 25 mph winds and what a difference! Definite game changer adding this to your system!

Quiet and warm

Bought to layer over other gear in colder weather. Very warm

Awesome Vest!

Perfect outerwear or layering piece
