I love the ear protection

I've got a big head. The typical beanie rides up and exposes my ears to the cold; I hate it. With this well-crafted cap, that's never a problem. Plus, if it's unexpectedly warm out, I can turn the earflaps up, much like the trapper hats of olde. Unlike those acrylic beanies I used to wear, this hat is made with incredibly warm material. I bought two because I love them so much. I might have to buy a lifetime supply because I'm not sure I want to ever be without the Fanatic Beanie.

Almost too hot!

Get the GTX Blizzard instead.

The hat is warm but the GTX Blizzard is better: fit, comfort, etc. I would only recommend the fanatic hat if you hate the having a brim on a hat.
