Excited to use it. I already have the fanatic jacket, and bibs and the fanatic vest and hoodie so I needed the beanie to complete my fanatic system. Very glad the days of heavy layering and freezing are behind me. Love the fanatic system.

I love the ear protection

I've got a big head. The typical beanie rides up and exposes my ears to the cold; I hate it. With this well-crafted cap, that's never a problem. Plus, if it's unexpectedly warm out, I can turn the earflaps up, much like the trapper hats of olde. Unlike those acrylic beanies I used to wear, this hat is made with incredibly warm material. I bought two because I love them so much. I might have to buy a lifetime supply because I'm not sure I want to ever be without the Fanatic Beanie.

It may look bulky and crazy but it is amazing. It fits without restriction and I have no issues hearing deer while hunting.

Almost too hot!

This is another Sitka item that if it is cold, I won’t hunt without it. May look a bit silly but it’s not about fashion, it’s about being warm. Highly recommend!

The hat is warm but the GTX Blizzard is better: fit, comfort, etc. I would only recommend the fanatic hat if you hate the having a brim on a hat.

I thought it was over priced at first but I went ahead and took the chance of buying it. I’m so glad I did because it’s worth every penny.

It is very warm. I live in Minnesota so sometimes I’m hunting in -5 to -15 degree weather and my head stays very warm.
