Great all around

The only downside of this is that you need to make sure that your binos aren't too big as the pouch isn't very spacious. Granted, this isn't necessarily for big western hunting, more tree and stand but, it's worth noting all the same. Outside of that, I loved it so much that I bought a pair of smaller binos so, take that for what it's worth.

Storage

Very comfortable, the side back and thicker straps give it more support so that it rests easier around me and over my shoulders unlike the other harness model Sitka has. However I wish his had the third storage pouch like the other model.

Shortsighted

To start, I own a bunch of Sitka gear and love it all. I was stoked when they released the flash optics harness as the others I own can be a pain to resize or keep the straps in order. Sitka did not disappoint on that end. This harness is comfortable, easy to put on/take off and never gives issues when changing layer thickness. My one gripe is that they won’t sell any accessory pouches for it. I can’t buy another matching rangefinder/accesory pouch without having to buy a second harness. Really disappointing from an otherwise great product.

Great Pick Up

Highly Recommend

After seeing so many people hunt with a bino harness I decided to pull the trigger and try one out. I didn't know what to expect as I haven't had any prior experience with one. It took a couple sits to get used to but I was very impressed with the design and quality. Being able to have your binos and range finder right at your finger tips is a game changer and eliminates a lot of movement. The quick release is one of the best features for fast on and off. I normally wear size medium shirts/sweatshirts and size large jackets and this fits true to those sizes. Top lid functions very well. The small details set this harness apart from others.

Not what I had hoped for

I have a pair of Swarovski slc 10x42’s. The lid doesn’t close all the way. The rangefinder pocket is very snug for my leupold 400 rangefinder as well. I even checked the size of accessories that it claims to fit before I purchased and figured I would be good.

Bino pouch too small

The layout, finish, quality is all great… THE BINO POUCH IS TOO SMALL. If the bottom of the Bino pouch was built without having an angle to it would likely fit 90 % of 10x42’s. It’s a bummer that it’s a bit small. I can get the lid down and secured but it’s clearly too small. I have vortex ranger 3000. (Vortex diamondback) essentially fit. Both 10x42

Optics Harness

The optics holder area is loud when I take my vortex optics out of the pouch. I have to be careful to go slow so it does not make too much noise. The range finder holder is a little too small for my rangefinder. It’s a really tight fit to close it and it does not close completely

Flash Optics Harness

This is a clutch whitetail piece for the saddle hunter. It is adjustable, fits perfectly over layers (fanatics jacket in my case), and stays out of the way during your draw cycle. I couldn't ask for more to have my binos and range finder so close and handy.

Option to add one more miscellaneous pouch

Nothing worse than a review that starts with "I haven't used it yet but . . . . " Well, I waited until I used my Flash Optics Harness through one antelope hunt and one deer hunt. Now, I can write a review. The Harness is everything I was looking for. Goes on easy. Comfortable. Access to your optic and rangefinder is great. The reason I only gave it a 4 is because Sitka needs to develop a miscellaneous pouch for the other side and an easy way to attach it (Molle clips, etc). My prior Hornady pouch had a zippered pouch for cartridges and miscellaneous items that I definitely missed while hunting with the Flash Optics Harness. I keep things like a Walker Game ear. Spare batttery or two. 5 cartridges or so. Things that can make or break that day's stalk. Just my . 02. I am the customer. I need to be the one to decide whether I want that additional pouch or not. Other than that, I love the Harness. The heavier straps are why I chose it over the Mountain Harness which has the additional pocket option.

Comfortable but bulky

The harness overall is ok and comfortable to wear, but it is very bulky compared to other brands; the quick detach system makes it very easy to take on and off and quiet compared to traditional buckles. I’m about 150lbs and with little layering in early season I can’t get it as snug as I would like to my chest.

I want to like it

Bought the xl/xxl/xxxl model and my binos (vortex crossfire hd 10x42) are a tight fit due to the taper at the bottom of the pouch and there’s a small gap on the sides to let water and debris in. The rangefinder is also very snug. Wouldn’t get any protection from the elements. Also missing one of the bino straps. The lid to the bino “snaps open” to keep the lid out of the way which is nice. The lid to the rangefinder pouch snaps forward and is held by a magnet to keep that lid out of the way. It’s fairly comfortable after having it on for a few minutes though. I really like the pattern. It fits my body well. But, due to the lack of protection for my binos and rangefinder, I’m sending it back.

Not for Vortex Razor UHD

This harness is too small for the Razor UHD binoculars. It may be a good fit for Maven, but it doesn’t fit any of my elk hunting binoculars. My wife uses it for her phone and other items she wants nearby while we hunt.
