Great layer with one flaw.

This bib is a game changer for real cold weather hunts. Warm as can be without sacrificing mobility. Perfectly body-mapped insulation. The only flaw is in the chest zipper. No matter what I do the zipper falls down opening up the chest and letting drafts in, it’s maddening. It will fall all the way down to your crotch. A simple top snap would likely fix this, I’ve been using a safety pin. Still worth getting, tho. The warmth is that good.

Comfort and warmth !

The gradient cold weather bib is a great product. They are super warm, comfortable, and fit nicely underneath the Sitka waders. They don’t hike up or get bunched up like other layers I’ve tried to wear as a base layer. They do tend to be on the smaller/ thin side of sizing, but that is most likely to keep them tight for the waders to go over them.

These things are absolutely amazing.

These things are absolutely amazing. They were loose enough that I can still bend down, squat, and move without any issues but still tight enough they layered extremely well with no pressure points or anything from the fabric bunching up under my clothes. The foot cuffs are a genius idea and don’t dig into my feet at all when I’m wearing my boots. It also keeps the bibs from bunching up as I put my waders on or even going into my boots under my brush pants. I bought this to wear during the winter trapping season and it was invaluable. Kept me warm without being overly bulking allowing me to break ice, drive stakes or whatever I needed to do to keep my trap line up. The straps are comfortable and keep the bibs in the proper position regardless of the position you yourself wind up being. The zipper makes going to the bathroom fairly easy when layered up as well

Super warm

I have uninsulated waders, and sitting in the marsh on the coldest of days I only had these under my waders paired with alpaca socks. Kept me warm the entire hunt. Of course I had more up top but for my legs this was more than enough to keep me warm. I recommend them to all my buddies running uninsulated waders.

SOLVES EVERYTHING

Pls make one in every color. It’s perfect for everything. Perfect mid to even outer layer for anything. So comfortable and since it’s a bib, you don’t have to have the perfect waist size like you do with the pants. Best thing I’ve ever gotten for hunting

Gradient cold weather bib

The Gradient bib is perfect insulation under my Delta wader. A Velcro tab above the zipper would be a nice addition. There is nothing to button the top of the bib other than the zipper.

I’m 6’2” 180lbs and the

I’m 6’2” 180lbs and the L fits perfectly… I look forward to the 2025/26 season when it’s really cold, I can tell that these bibs are gonna be the bomb, they are very comfortable… i always wear the heavyweight bottoms underneath the Dakota pants when it’s in the 20’s or colder but I think these gradient bibs will be all I’ll need under my Sitka waders

Fantastic purchase

I am 5’9” 155 lbs 32x32 pants. Fit allows polar weight base layer underneath. Bought to wear under dive bomb waders. These bibs are a game changer. Prevent low back cold spot and move well. I fell into knee deep iced over water and bibs were repellent enough that my torso stayed warm and dry. Feet were sloshing in water but once that water in my boots reached body temp I was fine and stood in that water hunting 2 more hours without a problem. These are fantastic.

Limited poskets

I have an earlier version that has no pockets in the front or the rear. completely useless and I have thrown them in the trash. Looks like they have added front pockets to this version but not rear pockets. Why is Sitka so adverse to having rear pockets on their waterfowl pants? If people don't like to use rear pockets, then don't use them.
