I needed warmth for the ground blind. A sales associate at the Bozeman store recommended the Gradient Pant to wear underneath my Stratus pants. They offer this in my size, LT. The pant has proven to be a great solution — comfortable, well-fitting and warm.

Gradient Waterfowl Pants

Super warm, comfortable, with extreme mobility. Only thing that might be a downside would be that the ankles are tight at first.

Super cozy

I’ve been hunting in Northern California, so it hasn’t gotten too cold yet. But these pants are great. They keep me very warm and there’s no need for a base layer. That may be a different story once I’m in Kansas next week, but these pants get the job done. They’re very comfortable and I love the heel strap. I hated having my sweat pants bunch up when putting on waders. These make it great. I’m 6 foot and 230 pounds. I bought an XL and I think I could’ve gotten away with an L. However, the extra room allows me to layer more if needed.

Best sweatpant for hunting! Love the straps to prevent the legs from riding up with boots or waders and the comfort is unmatched. Wear these hunting in 70° weather all the way down to single digits and love the temperature control.

Comfortable and warm. I wear these every where. Fantastic as layer under waders. Only problem is if your significant other puts them on you will wish you bought two pairs because you won’t girt them back. Wife swiped my first pair had to buy these as replacements!

Comfy warm fit

I love these pants. Bought them as wader pants but surprisingly wear them a lot more frequently than just under my waders. They breathe well and seem really durable.

Wouldn’t be without them

In my search for warmth due to blood thinners daily, these were a great addition to my setup. Under my waders they keep me nice and toasty. Love the fit. They are true to size and work great.

My only complaint is that

My only complaint is that these things are super tight on my calves almost uncomfortably so. They fit my waist well and are the right length but the taper on the lower leg is very aggressive. I thought they might stretch over time but after using them at least 20 times so far they have not. Otherwise the pants worked great under waders. Coldest I've used them with waders was 20°. I didn't have any other layers and was completely comfortable. Used them under fanatic bibs at 10° and was actually a touch warm. They will work great when it really gets cold and for under my ice fishing gear. Also they breath really well so if you take your waders/ bibs off the wind will freeze your legs fast.

I love these pants. Like really love them. They’re cozy and warm and I’ve convinced everyone I hunt with this is the one piece of gear they can’t live without. They just need zippers for the pockets and they’d be perfect.

I have owned several brands of wader pants and this is my favorite by far. I like them so much that I use them to just hunt in without waders. Great fit and quality built. I now have two pairs and bought another for my son and loves them as well!

Best wader pants in the business. Do not wear under insulated waders until it dips below 30. You’ll sweat your butt off. I wore with non-insulated waders when it dipped under 45 and was comfortable. The keeper straps at the bottom are comfortable and do their job.

Pants fit true to size

Pants fit true to size and very warm. Have unfortunately only been able to wear once since purchase but material and construction is great

Nothing beats these pants for keeping me warm in my waders. They are as comfortable as sweatpants, but the stirrups keep them from riding up your legs.

Only a few hunts in and I already have to send them in for repair. The stitching is already coming undone at the bottom of the pants. But they are warm!

Great pants.I got these for cold weather wading and they worked fine into the 30s. I think they would be warm into the low 20s with a base layer. I wear 40 pants and the fit was about right with a xlt size. If you wear a base layer and heavy shirt I would go up a size. Only minor issue, I have big calves and they were a little tight in that area

Love the Gradient Pants. I am cold natured, so it is hard to stay warm when hunting. These helped solve that issue.

These are perfect for those hunts where the hiking is minimal because they hold so much heat. This is the warmth you’re looking for while sitting in the field!

Versatile layering/pre and post hunt pant

The gradient pant quickly became one of my favorite pieces from Sitka. These pants are perfect under waders when the temps get below the 50's. I also layer these pants under my bibs while deer hunting once it gets into the 30's. It's great to be able to take off your waders and be wearing something with pockets for your phone/keys for the drive home, or take off your bibs in camp and be able to lounge around in these pants. The stirrup also really helps keep these pants from riding up. My only complaint is that I wish there was a back pocket for your wallet.
