Lousy Fit

It’s described as fit to layer underneath. I’m 5’8”, 158 lb. Normally I wear medium, 32-33 waist; however, I must size up with Sitka and have pants tailored to shorten the length. I can live with longer sleeve length in coats and shirts. The GTX reviews indicated it’s sized large - wrong! The length is okay, but it’s snug in the armpits so layering is uncomfortable. I can wear only a shirt underneath it. A sleeveless vest is about all which can be added for some warmth. This is what happens with off-shore clothing. Perhaps Sitka will someday get the sizing right.

Bad fit

Most reviews say it fits big, I ordered a large. Arms are tight, can’t move. Yet the length is ok. I just can’t get an expensive Sitka coat to fit right. Not sure if I’ll keep it.

My only criticism is that I think it could use pit-zips and little broader color selection.

Very large

Jacket seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. I wear an xl in everything Sitka but this was huge. I bought it to put over my duck oven when the snow is blowing for an added layer but it was way too big. I sized down to a large. The material seems like it will take a beating which will be great for a rain coat. The dew point although very light is not very tough. This jacket is the ticket!
