I have been wearing these since they were introduced and they feel great and wear great.

Nice pants, too slim for "athletic" men

I was not able to keep these pants as the seat and thighs were too slim to be comfortable while moving about, sitting, and kneeling. If you have larger/muscular glutes and thighs these may not fit right for you. The waist felt true to size.

So far so good, good fit but just a little long. Seem to be well made but time will tell… if I have work pants that last a year I consider it a success!

As always amazing Sitka attention

As always amazing Sitka attention to detail and highest quality pants I have found. More belt loops than most other pants of this type. Super lightweight and breathable material. I will get three seasons out of these.

Great pants!

They fit great and the slight bit of stretch keeps them comfortable all day. I like the canvas texture of the fabric and they seem to be holding up well to frequent wear. The articulated knees and gusseted crotch give great range of movement. Bought a pair to try out, and ended up buying three more and they have now become my daily pants. The charcoal pairs had a rolled and very sturdy triple lockstitch hem, but the tan pairs had a surged end with triple needle chainstitch like the hem of a teeshirt. The tan pants were very easy to remove the hem, and the charcoal pants hem was extremely hard to remove (which is good). They must have come off of different assembly lines or factories. Needed to hem all four pairs as they come with 32-33" inseam (tan ones were an inch longer than the charcoal ones and had the flimsy hem). 5'9", muscular 190lbs, 30" inseam.

Definitely not meant to work

Definitely not meant to work in. The stitching in the crotch area already busted. Has decent intentions but could be better.

Great pants! , husband loves them!

My husband is tall and muscular and has bigger legs, it’s hard to find pants that fit him and look good. He loves them, wears them for work as a construction manager daily. He looks out together but the pants are durable enough if he has to get in there and help with something. Can’t recommend them enough!

Terrible

Some of my friends think I work secretly undercover as a Sitka sales rep based on how highly I talk about their gear. I was highly disappointed with this pant. It is advertised as a work pant so I used it as such. I work on a pipe crew and at the time of purchasing these pants I was doing most of my work from the ditch (labor intensive). The back end of these pants completely blew out one day after only using them for a couple of weeks. I worked the rest of the day with my ass out. Very very disappointed. However, the grindstone jacket is the best jacket I have ever owned in my life. I hope Sitka continues to evolve with working industry outfitting because I am confident they can get the pants right some day but these aren’t it.

The grindstone work pant is a quality work pant. Being on the ranch you never know what situation I could get in to. The durability is nice. Only negative about them is they are a little short for my longer legs.

These are my favorite pants. Pockets are right where I want them and they are BUILT. The material is tough and they are cut just right.

Really wanted to like these pants!

I really wanted to like these pants but at 6’3” 205lbs I need the tall sizes to comeback! I think these would be a great pant tough enough for shed hunting, running my trap line and just general farm work. These also run a bit small. I wear 34T in all my Sitka pants and these are really tight.

zipper quality issue

Love the fabric, Love the fit, love the articulation, Love everything about this pant EXCEPT the zipper. It's very poor quality and will not stay up, it slips every time I sit down or put my hands in my pocket. Nothing worse than a $150 product ruined by a choice to save a nickel on a cheaper zipper.

I found the pant to be comfortable and lightweight. Movement is made easily and they are breathable.

Great pant to wear to work around the farm. Very durable and true to size.

Best pants

These work pants are the best pants I have gotten from Sitka Gear. I live the stretchy fabric and fit. Sitka Gear pants usually don't fit me so great but they finally got it right on these. I wear a 40x32, I am 6 feet 250 pounds and wear XXL in just about everything.

Built from rugged material and is a loose fit and liked both of these attributes but don't think I'll wear them much in the AZ heat. One review stated they are perfect for 30-70 degree weather which is an accurate comment. Nothing wrong with these pants, just too heavy for AZ weather.

Great Pant

This pant is similar to Duluth Trading Company’s AKHD Stone Run pant but better. The AKHD is nice and soft but stretch out a size bigger after wearing them, which isn’t helpful when the waist is cut square to the hips. They are hard to keep on after that. I do like the hidden right leg pocket better. The Grindstone uses a better fabric, a soft ballistic weave and the waist is tapered so the pant stays on my hips better, while still having room in the hips and crotch due to the gusseted crotch. Would buy again over the AKHD.

I have several pairs of Sitka pants but these are my favorite. The fit is excellent and they are so comfortable. Definitely the first pants I grab from my pile. My only issue is the length. I wish they offered a 34 Short but I’ll continue to cuff the bottoms and still give these pants 5 stars!

Light weight and it fills the need for everyday home projects even on cold drizzly days. Pocket placement comes in handy and a plus is once mud dries out on the pant it doesn’t really leave a stain (oak). The zipper end on the one I received is exposed without a zipper garage, potential place to fail but in product images it has fabric stitched over.

Grindstone Pants

Wore them for the first time yesterday, very comfortable work pants that have great flexibility while squatting or moving around. The material is nice in 50-75 degree weather. Pockets are deep and hold things securely without them moving around much as you do your activities. Definitely would recommend. I’m fixing to order more with my coupon code. Thanks Sitka!!!!!!!
