These work pants are the best pants I have gotten from Sitka Gear. I live the stretchy fabric and fit. Sitka Gear pants usually don't fit me so great but they finally got it right on these. I wear a 40x32, I am 6 feet 250 pounds and wear XXL in just about everything.

Built from rugged material and is a loose fit and liked both of these attributes but don't think I'll wear them much in the AZ heat. One review stated they are perfect for 30-70 degree weather which is an accurate comment. Nothing wrong with these pants, just too heavy for AZ weather.

This pant is similar to Duluth Trading Company’s AKHD Stone Run pant but better. The AKHD is nice and soft but stretch out a size bigger after wearing them, which isn’t helpful when the waist is cut square to the hips. They are hard to keep on after that. I do like the hidden right leg pocket better. The Grindstone uses a better fabric, a soft ballistic weave and the waist is tapered so the pant stays on my hips better, while still having room in the hips and crotch due to the gusseted crotch. Would buy again over the AKHD.

Light weight and it fills the need for everyday home projects even on cold drizzly days. Pocket placement comes in handy and a plus is once mud dries out on the pant it doesn’t really leave a stain (oak). The zipper end on the one I received is exposed without a zipper garage, potential place to fail but in product images it has fabric stitched over.

I have several pairs of Sitka pants but these are my favorite. The fit is excellent and they are so comfortable. Definitely the first pants I grab from my pile. My only issue is the length. I wish they offered a 34 Short but I’ll continue to cuff the bottoms and still give these pants 5 stars!

Wore them for the first time yesterday, very comfortable work pants that have great flexibility while squatting or moving around. The material is nice in 50-75 degree weather. Pockets are deep and hold things securely without them moving around much as you do your activities. Definitely would recommend. I’m fixing to order more with my coupon code. Thanks Sitka!!!!!!!

The 32R is true to size on the leg length and a little snug in the waist when compared to 5.11 or Wrangler. Rather that is due to the other companies being off of not I can not say. The pants feel sturdy and like they will last a long time. For comparison sake, I am 5’5” 155lb and usually wear 32 inseam pants to conceal a holster and glock 19. These fit snug in the waist and I will not be able to conceal carry but they will be perfect for their intended purpose.

Great pants! Inseam is a little longer so that it covers your boots nicely while working. Fit is great. Pockets are well designed. Best part of these pants is the larger cell phone pocket on the right thigh. I have bought another brand of work pants with the thigh pocket for my cell phone for years. The problem is the phones keep getting bigger and will no longer fit in most of their pockets. The Sitka work pants probably fit any current smart phone out there.

The grindstone pants are great for everyday use. Fit well with or without a belt. I have used them shed hunting, early season scouting, working around the house and travel pants. Pockets are sized properly and both side pockets hold a cell phone with room to spare. If I had a suggestion to make the pants better it would be to have the knife pocket on the left side. Most people are right handed and if you wear a pistol on the right you can’t put a clip on knife on the knife pocket side. Overall I would highly recommend the pants and plan on purchasing more.

This review is not for public facing. Only for internal designers. I have always worn size 32 waist from Sitka and these pants are so tight that I can barely get them on and then due to being solid fabric lifting knees is very restricted. I'm surprised this piece was released as is. For a pant that's positioned for work and versatility then freedom of movement and articulation is critical. Unfortunately bending down and moving around is very restricted in this pant. The shape just isn't right.

honestly, i’ve been a bit skeptical of paying $$ for “designer” wear, but never a problem for good tactical gear- why? buy once, cry once- and those tears become tears of joy when you can put these on month after month and their quality remains- practical for usage, but not those jeans you can only wear to work - these come across presentably, should you need to rush out of the garden or shop to meet with a client
