Guard LT Pant Reviews

Great value!

Love this piece!

My favorite new hunting pants.

They fit perfectly for the early season. I love the bug shield for add protection.

Comfortable.

Were nice and comfortable in the early bow season. Nice to actually have pockets, a different brand seems to think you should carry everything in your pack.

Guard Pant LT

Great pants and the knee pads make them even better

Early season

Perfect for early season, not too hot but still enough material to block the bug bites. When it cools down I’ll probably throw on a base layer and wear these until I can’t. Comfy and quiet 👍

Lightweight and great fit

Lightweight and great fit

Wrong order

I ordered a size 36R but i got a 34R instead. Other than that the materials is fantastic and the pockets are super optimized

Guard lt pant

Wish they made a smaller waist size but great pants

Fit perfect and very comfortable

Fantastic early season bow hunting.

Fantastic early season bow hunting. Interior liner to help with tics worked great.

T

Comfortable, extremely light weight And true to size! Perfect pants for the early season hunts in the Georgia heat

Bye bye, bugs!

I’m a 61 year old North Dakota resident. I have an insect infested shelter belt at my farm and have always fought hordes of ticks, mosquitoes and biting flies. Until this year, I used DEET sprays, and usually several applications per day. I tried these and not only did I get to skip the oily, sticky, repeated sprays, but I got far fewer bites. I cannot say enough good about being smart with clothing. I just wish I’d learned it at 59 instead of 61! Buy these and don’t flinch at the price. You’d spend more on bug spray to get less protection. And leaving the bug spray sticky feeling behind is icing on the cake. Trust me on this.

Great pant

Best insect guard pants for work and hunt

Sitka Guard

Didnt use

Didnt use the pants yuet. But the pockets dont zip seal and arent very deep.

Pants

Fits true to size

Perfect working day pant

Perfect for the insect protection with the gaiters to tuck into your socks and save you from ticks and chiggers

The pants fit well and

The pants fit well and are comfortable to wear. The pocket placement is good, although I would prefer a larger side pocket and a second back pocket. The leg gaiters work as advertised and you don’t notice them when walking around. My only gripe is the material holds onto dirt. I had some dry dirt on the knees and back side that would not come out after washing. I washed a second time and that made it a bit better, but not clean. Blood will not come out either, even after using spray and wash. I have a cheap pair of Wrangler hiking pants I wore all last season that did not have this issue. Nor do any of my Kuhl hiking pants with similar feeling material. After a handful of dove hunts walking through thick and thorny brush they seem to be holding up well. I would purchase again, although in a camo pattern to hide dirt and stains.

Great early season pant

Real light weight and perfect for the hotter weather. Love them so much that I bought 2 pair!

Guard LT Pant

Good pant for projects in the heat and insects

Fits perfect

Fits true to size and great bug guard on the ankle.

Very noisy

Bought a pair of these 3 years ago and they have been great. Decided to order another pair this year. Pant material must have changed as they are very noisy now. Sounds like im wearing an old pair of windbreaker pants.

Not what I expected

No zip pockets. Or zip ventilations runs hot even for light. Should of had ventilation on side for long walks

Guard LT Pant Best For Hot Weather Insect Preotection

I love these pants for hot weather hunts and scouting work to get things done with great bug protection.

They work!

No insects!

Excited about the guard.

These are men’s pants and I’m not quite built like a man but it was the only way to buy these insect deterring pants. They need a larger thigh and behind for this hunting woman. I love the tuck in your boot sleeve and pull your sock over protection idea. I’m complementing the pants by doing the simple spraying of my vehicle carpets, seat covers etc for anything that gets by these pants. I have coupled it with the Sitka guard hoody ( which I love. Just asking…. Sitka women love the outdoors too, Please include us in your designs!

Great early season pants

Fantastic pants working on food plots, turkey hunting or just everyday in the woods.

Great for warm weather and light brush

I love the guard line up, another tool to use to help battle the insects. Super lightweight, easy to move in, climb sticks or mtn sides. I will say they are not meant to be busting through heavy brush in. Great for the early season deer and spring turkey. Waist is true to size but they are tight in the thigh area

Great product

Not often you make it through turkey season / early Spring without picking up a tick. The insect shield functionality in my experience, worked exactly as intended!

Nice Pants!

Great fitting summer pant. The lighter color helped locate any tags alongside as well.

Love them

Love them

Nice and breathable

Breathable, and did great with bugs in Alaska. Comfortable with the 5 mile hike we did. Like the adjustable button on the pant. I do miss a single zipper pocket that’s why not 5 stars, love my zipper pocket.

Great pants

Kept the ticks off of me.

Best light pant alternative to

Best light pant alternative to insect protection, casual or fishing!

Too loud for bowhunting

Nice and light but way too loud for bowhunting. The original version of the guard pants is significantly quieter.

Great fitting but a little loud

These pants fit great and are comfortable. Quality and durability seem solid however they are pretty noisy/swooshy/crinkly sound. The regular equinox guard pants were a much quieter material. I am hoping they soften up/get quieter after a wash or 2.

Very loud

Way too loud for bowhunting. Had to return. The 1. 0 model is way better and much more quiet. Will try to find those somewhere instead

I wore this suit on

I wore this suit on a Canada fishing trip . The area I went was infested with mosquitoes. The suit protected me and worked as it states it would against insects. I would d3finitely recommend this suit. It is great. Thank you.

Great pant

Great pant

Great quality and fit

These pants fit well and are built to last. Very comfortable and seem very durable

Great warm weather pant

Does what it says, no bugs, no ticks, light and breathable but also durable.

Awesome pants

These pants are great!

Fitment

I was very impressed on how the pants fit and the quality was never a big Sitka fan but this has changed my mind

Runs small

I wish these pants had more pockets, and side vents runs small, pockets are small.

Guard LT Pant

Very lightweight and comfortable, they are perfect for spring turkey and early fall deer seasons!

Performed great in warm weather

Performed great in warm weather and kept bugs and ticks away without having to wear bug spray.

Guard lite

Fit is true to size, I've only owned them a week so I am interested how they hold up. Only things I don't care for are there is only one back pocket and the gaiter is looser than I expected it to be.

Originally I had ordered waist

Originally I had ordered waist size 34, which is my correct waist size. They were too small. Sent back for 36. Fit much better. Nice pants but for the price I should be able to select my inseam. Not everyone is a 32 in. inseam. Otherwise, as usual, nice Sitka quality.
