These bottoms under the Gradient
These bottoms under the Gradient pants/bibs were amazing in St. Paul, Alaska in -1 degrees in the Bearing Sea hunting King Eider and Harlequin. The Hudson Bibs were also over the two bottoms to keep me dry and to cut the wind. I was comfortable and never once got cold. I highly recommend the purchase.

The Heavyweight Core Bottoms were
The Heavyweight Core Bottoms were excellent on a recent hunting trip with a morning temperature of 23 degrees Fahrenheit (weather channel stated "feels like 13 degrees"). The Heavyweight bottoms provided the necessary warmth and wicking I needed for a hunt that initially took about 1. 5 hours stalking then approximately 7 hours sitting. Excellent base layer. Fantastic for River fishing in the late fall.

Christmas gift for my adult nephew.
I purchased these because my adult nephew asked for them on his list. So I purchased them for him for when we celebrate our Christmas at the end of Jan. My Mom who’s almost 86, still works full time and the 2nd shift. I thought nothing more about them…until they arrived. I was so impressed of the quality when I opened the package, I was in awe of a pair of what’d we call Long John’s. Snap out of it, golly gee, I’m obsessing over a pair, Lord help me. Essential duck hunting and trapping bottom layer
I almost never wear a heavy bottom hunting unless it's a tree stand (I rarely do any of that). But waterfowl and trap lines are essential to have some warm legging bottoms and these do the trick. My only gripe is that they can smell pretty quick.

I love my Heavyweight Bottoms. I purchased them in large/Pyrite. I am 5’9”, 160, 32-33 waist. The fit is perfect for me, a little loose to allow more airflow. I love the stretch fleece. It is comfortable and warm. I just got them, and they are already a go-to base-layer in freezing conditions. It looks like it is going to be a cold winter, and these bottoms will get a lot of use. Like all Sitka products it is well made.

Warm without the bulk and very comfortable to wear
I got those to help me stay warm in the later season when we get single digit temps and still need to be agile and not bulked up with under garment. First I was positive surprised how nice they fit and how soft they are. Also the way they kept me warm and wicked away any sweat. I wore them for a few occasions and could not identify any smell.
