The hoodie is comfortable and warm. I’ve only been able to wear to once in a cool morning turkey hunt. I stayed dry on walk in and was just right while sitting. Took about two and a half hours but I got him!

I was looking for a heavy weight hooded sweatshirt for an upcoming mountain hunt that I could more easily see if ticks were on me. I have an older model thats black and love it. Fit and finish is high quality and warm without the bulk. I would buy thos again.

I used this for a week+ long hunt in Kansas chasing whitetails in December. The days I was scouting in 22 degree weather, this kept me warm. Nothing keeps me warm while sitting especially in the Kansas wind. I ordered a size larger to fit over multiple layers for all days sits in 20 degree weather. This hoodie was a solid purchase, I'm happy with it.

This is one my most used Sitka items. I lost my first one in a campfire incident, my fault, and ordered two more in solid colors. It's nice that Sitka is offering more solid color options so that I can justify the purchase as everyday clothing lol.

Very happy with fit and warmth. Really like the half zip and hood. The only thing I don’t like are the thumb loops. Would really prefer thumb holes.

Impressive Performance

I am always amazed at the warmth to bulk ratio is for Sitka garments. They are always incredibly warm in spite of their relatively thin construction. I’m constantly adding more garments. I only wish I had started sooner.

it's not the material, it's the cut

if you think fleece is fleece, you need to try on this hoodie. It is cut to fit your body, not hang on it; and it is cut for movement. The hood is appropriately sized for warmth retention and wearing under a helmet.
