Great layering garment. Wore it during a cold snap in Houston with snow and freezing temps and wind while walking our dogs. Can’t wait to use it on my next duck hunt.

Heavyweight Hoodie

I have 4 or 5 of these heavyweight hoodies, I wear them all the time. Multiple camo patterns for hunting and multiple solid colors for daily wear. I sleep in the solid colors on cooler nights, the fabric has a comfortable feel and it doesn't get stinky even after several nights sleeping at deer camp. I highly recommend this item

I love it supper comfy and I got a size up for a little more room and it’s perfect For future buyers it’s more of a athletic fit so it’s a little skinner and longer but still tries to size cause it’s a mid layer designed for under jackets and coats

Nice base layer

I hunt in lower Alabama/ NW Florida area. I don’t have many base layers and had been looking for something lighter weight, but still warm, I’ve only worn this a couple of times, it this fit the bill. I purchased it at the outlet and colors were limited, but wouldn’t have cared if it was hot pink, lol. True fit and comfortable. Happy with my purchase.

Punches above its weight

This is one of my favorite pieces from Sitka. This thing is warm and although it doesn’t claim to be wind roof, it does really well. On 35-45 degree days duck hunting I wear this and a vest and feel great. Only downside is no pockets in the front. I constantly reach to slide my hands in and there is nothing. All in all it’s a fantastic layering piece or outer layer in mild to cold conditions.

Big piece of my layering system

The heavy weight hoody is my universal piece of my layering system. Warm weather hunts I can wear the heavyweight over a lightweight hoody or t-shirt when the weather is cooler and easily pack it away when the weather warms. In cold weather it is a great piece to wear under jackets/coats and is not too bulky to be uncomfortable.

All-in-all a great layering piece

All-in-all a great layering piece for hunting. Would get one without a hood as well if it was available. This is one of the only Sitka items I sized down to a MED on instead of a LRG. I’m 5’10 abt 180lb.

Great hoodie, guys are wearing full winter coats and shivering, I got this on and I'm fine. I wouldn't spend all day outside with just this but it'll keep you warm long enough for quick tasks. Got XL

Great hoodie! Title a little misleading

Love the piece, fits true to size. Is pretty warm for what it is. My ONLY complaint is (and this may be a more personal issue than a Sitka issue) is that when I think of a "heavyweight" hoodie, I think of a garment that is heavier/warmer than a typical cotton hoodie. That is not the case with this item. It is relatively thin. Still happy with it though!
