To be Fair

Well to be fair I can't really rate this it's not even hunting season yet but if they operate like the older one version did they should be pretty darn good I'm not quite sure I like the velcro on the bottom of the legs and the fact that the knee pads aren't already sewn in that would be my two biggest complaints right now

I have been having my

I have been having my Hudson bibs since 2017. I have had 0 problems until the leg zipper broke. i have worn these almost 60 days each hunting season across multiples states and country. most of the time in South LA where it doesn't get that cold. The new ones don't seem to be built like the old ones. Also way to much insulation for the Southern states. What was the reasoning for putting insulation from the top of the knee to bottom of back. The knee area seem to be of a less material than the old style with the knee pads. I have pretty much everything in all patterns that sitka makes and trying to figure out why the 2026 Hudson bibs changed so much,

they exceed my approval as theyre a big step up from the older ones and look amazing wish we still had the removeable knee pads thou they were awesome in the field

Perfect bibs

Just as expected from Sitka! Perfect. Can’t wait for those nasty January and February days chasing ducks and geese.

Not impressed

I sent my original Hudson’s in to get the zipper issue fixed but apparently that’s not possible cause they don’t actually fix anything, just replace. The original zipper design got sticky after much use but instead of simply fixing that waterproof zipper they asked me to wait until they released the “upgraded” bibs that are nothing like the originals what so ever. They now have a non waterproof zipper that only goes down 2/3rds of the way down the leg and it’s Velcro with one snap on the bottom instead… Velcro. Also they are now insulated. I much prefer the old style with no insulation for the option to wear all year long and dress under layers accordingly. And to now charge $650 and not include knee pads is a slap in the face if you ask me… or any person with common sense. Over all I am not impressed what so ever. I have bought countless pieces of their products over the years but I can honestly say I am done. I am not longer impressed with quality or service at all. They were the flagship of the industry for many years but are now scrambling to keep up with the competition and are failing. Badly.

Awesome upgrade

The new Hudson bibs are very well thought out. The new design will eliminate zipper issues from mud and debris. The insulation is an added plus during the season. The fit is the same as the previous bibs. They do not come with knee pads but do have the “pockets” in the knee area for them.
