Great for staying dry. A little on the inadequate side for staying warm. Hunting in 19 degree weather in Pennsylvania and definitely needed the Sitka layering system. With the system, it was good. Great for shouldering firearms with its slick feel and design. A title less ideal for a rifle with a sling since it consistently slides off the shoulder.

Would buy another one.

This jacket is the best jacket I’ve ever worn. Keeps you dry unlike other jackets that say are waterproof.

Cloak of invincibility

Bomb-proof jacket. Impervious to wind and rain. It is a bit noisy if used for hunting purposes other than waterfowl. Also, the lanyard only works if you wear the jacket so, if the weather gets hot, you might be inconvenienced.

Hudson jacket

Replacing a Hudson jacket zippers killed the last one. Guide waterfowl December through January live in it.

Great Jacket!

The range of motion afforded by the stretch panels at the shoulders is a game changer. This is a very well built mid temp jacket, with the addition of layers below, it can get down below freezing. It breathes well, less sweating during decoy set, yet warm enough for a layout blind. Runs a little tight, and I haven't used it in really cold weather yet, but think the right layering combo can get you there.

I'm a taller larger guy so finding jackets is a little difficult. This jacket was plenty long enough. It's a little snug in the shoulders but I don't mind that as it makes drawing to the shoulder easier. Now I just need the temp to drop before the season opens.

I really like the coat. It warm and does everything you said it would do. I have worn it in rain and snow, and I am toastie warm and dry.

Just a little uncomfortable especially the Velcro on the wrists. Almost like it cuts your wrists.

I really like the shell of this jacket but was somewhat disappointed by how little the arms are insulated. Although still warm I would have preferred the insulation over the mobility.

Nephew Hunting Jacket

This jacket was purchased for a Nebraska hunting trip. Cold windy temps and snow like conditions were in the forecast. This jacket kept him warm and dry. I would recommend ordering 1 size bigger to allow for room to layer up on those really cold day's.

Haven't had a chance to wear it yet. First impression is not great. Seems like way to much money for a rain jacket. But we'll find out when I get a chance to use it.

I’m very pleased with my new Hudson Jacket. I purchased it for late season hunts when the temps down. Fit seems good with warmth with excessive bulk. It appears that I will be able to wear less layers while maintaining a comfortable body temperature.

Lube the zipper

The Hudson is hands down the best and most versatile jacket a duck hunter can have. I’ve had mine for 4 seasons now and it still keeps me dry and warm. Just enough insulation to keep you warm on bitter cold days with some layers under it, but not too hot to wear even on mild days. Seems many people think it runs big. I think it’s perfect as it has just enough room for layers without being snug and also isn't baggy when worn with less layers. And if the zipper is difficult, use some zipper wax and it’s easy as can be. I use the jacket all season long, it’s easily my most worn piece.

Nice jacket. Wore on a storm day, stayed dry and couldn’t feel the wind. Enjoy this jacket more than my delta jacket due to the fact it is insulated so I don’t have to wear two jackets to stay worn. Just a warm base layer under the Hudson. Usually wear medium but by a large in all Sitka runs a little small when layered and having waders on. Overall great jacket.

Amazing jacket

I love this jacket. The Hudson Jacket fits great. The hood is designed so you have a great field of vision. I rely like the material, weight and the dexterity of the jacket.

Shield against the elements!

Don’t leave home without my Hudson! Rain, Snow and wind it stops it all! Still able to set long lines and swing a shotgun with the comfortable and flexible back. Highly recommend
