Looks good out of the box! Fits well, ready to try it in the field. I have not hunted in it yet, but look forward to getting out and hunting in it soon! Can leave additional feedback at the end of September after I get to try it all out.

Best Late Season Waterfowl Coat Ever!

My last and best ever late season hunting coat!! This jacket is bombproof! Warm, rainproof and the pockets, hood, cuffs, etc. are well thought out. I’m 5’7” and an athletic 190 lbs. size large fits perfectly with room for layering. I also have the un-insulated wading jacket for warmer weather and both jackets make hunting in Tennessee comfortable from October through April.

Bigger than expected

The large was bigger than expected. I have other Sitka items in large that fit perfect. Sent it back and waiting on my Medium to return. Haven’t received it yet.

Having had a Hudson jacket

Having had a Hudson jacket for the last couple of seasons. I bought 1 for each of my 3 sons. Hunting in Montana can get bitter, the Hudson jacket has been up to the task.

Great jacket

Well made and warm. It fits well with either no layering or light layering underneath. The jacket is designed to keep you warm and reduce the bulk. I have two jackets, the Hudson, and the Delta Wading jacket. Between these two, I'm covered for all temps.

All I'm going to say it is a awesome jacket.

As does my Hudson Bibs, this set is bulletproof, lol. Ice fishing, rainy turkey hunts and waterfowl hunts. . Warm and Dry. Durability going through brush as well has been outstanding. My only negative comment would be the fit. Arm length and jacket length were good. The front is very bulky and sloppy compared to all my jackets in the same Large size. Medium fit better in front but to short elsewhere.

Surely one of my favorites

The Jacket I was looking for

This is the one. I wanted an outer shell with minimal insulation. Much like my big game gear, I like to layer and choose my own insulation. I got it in the spring sale and haven't put it to the test yet, but I'm looking forward to this coming season and actually hunt in comfort. I was still using gear from 15 years ago, I could manage, but it wasn't very comfortable. I went one size larger to accommodate layers underneath. Sitka normally runs true to size, so upping one size allows me to have additional layers underneath.

Medium vs Large

I am 5'10" 170lbs (no belly). I have the dew point in large, but I ended up going with a medium for my Hudson. The midsection on the Hudson, because of the thicker (insulated) jacket, felt like too much bulk while in a seated position. I never noticed it with my Dew point cause it's such a thin material. There is still enough room for some layering for me, but I am a California duck hunter, and really won't need much more than a light shirt under the Hudson.

If you want an all

If you want an all around outer shell to keep you dry and comfortable from all of mother natures elements this is your new go to. Jacket fits to layer for those below zero days.

Excellent jacket

Bought this to replace an old 4 in 1 jacket that I've used for about 15 years. I'm a big guy and have trouble with most jackets fitting. This thing fits the bill and then some it will be awesome this coming season.

This jacket is just what I needed

I already have the Sitka

I already have the Sitka Jetstream, so wasn't sure I really needed another jacket as the jetstream has done very well, but the Hudson looks like it will take me that extra step. Last season was brutal. Single digits , sleet, winter mix. . . no fun. I needed something extra. This ought to do the trick. You just can't go wrong with Sitka.

Hudson coat is awesome!

I am using the Hudson coat and bibs for cold weather bass fishing and they are awesome! They seem very durable and very waterproof. They are also the right amount of warmth and mobility.
