Overall great waterfowl jacket. Well

Overall great waterfowl jacket. Well thought out features, plenty of room to store shells and other small gear. Cuts the wind great and works well on cold windy (and rainy) days when layered properly. My only complaint is it runs a little large. Wrist gussets are not tight to wrists…but maybe I just need to hit the gym

everything about the jacket i love accidentally stuck my foot in a hole while in a pond and dunked my hand under water in 6 degree weather and stayed completely dry with the hudson jacket and blizzard gtx gloves unfortunately though it does run a little big the xl is a little to large for my liking but the large fits to snug

Great All In One Outer Layer

This jacket is a great heavier outer layer for frigid and winter storm conditions. I would wear this over bibs or waders. All the listed features work as advertised. The actual dirt color is a slightly darker khaki (more like Carhartt Brown) than the shade it appears online which I think is better for use in the field. The only thing I would say about the fit is I did try this on with my standard frigid layers - grinder hoodie, kelvin light vest, and duck oven jacket, and it was a bit snug in the shoulders and upper arms/elbows. So if you are cold natured and need a lot of layers, I would consider sizing up. I went with my normal size L and am 180, 5-9” with broader shoulders.

Great Jacket/Better Customer Service

I have been using Sitka gear for years and am a huge fan of layering gear to be comfortable throughout the hunting day in Eastern NC. I recently had a 5+ year old jacket with a zipper malfunction and returned to the warranty department. Upon receipt they quickly processed the claim and had me picking a new coat as a replacement. I called and talked normal weather patterns in NC and Sitka staff helped me choose the Hudson Jacket. It was a great choice to start the early morning boat rides and also allowed enough mobility to wear throughout long cold days. Waterproof, windproof and not overweight, I am glad to be a customer and to own this Hudson Jacket.

Unreal

When it finally decides to get cold in south Louisiana it is absolutely BRUTAL! The wind is almost unbearable! 20 degrees in a boat doing 30mph in the middle of the marsh and i felt literally zero wind with the Hudson on! This jacket and that day made my buddy a believer and is now wearing Sitka!

Wish I purchased this jacket sooner!!!

I originally purchased the Delta Pro Wading Jacket but returned it, as I failed to realize it was intended only as an outer shell. I was specifically looking for a jacket that was both waterproof and would provide substantial warmth for later seasons, and the Hudson Jacket has not disappointed in wet weather, cold weather, or any weather. For the fit, I can confirm it is true to size. I am 5'10", 180lbs, and I went with the Large, which has enough room for me to comfortably wear my Traverse Hoodie underneath for those cold morning hunts.

940 Blenheim Drive

I have had this jacket for several years and I rarely wear it. Very disappointing. An XL was too big and a L unfortunately is too small. Arms are long and tight in the body. It is not warm and very tight if you wear extra layers. For the cost, even on sale it, was expensive for a "windbreaker" with a weird fit.
