The Hyperdown pant is a game changer in the field. I am outfitter and spend at least 6 days a week on the mountain. These pants are super lightweight and easy to pack around but there seriously bring the heat. I would have never thought a pant that lightweight would keep me so warm. I’ll never be without them.

Excellent purchase ! Whether in the blind, boat or ice shack. This layer is so light it doesn't even feel like anything was added. Last trip in the boat I was fishing sub 20 degrees with a cold damp wind. I had a mid weight merino base layer, my Hyper Down Pants, and my Incinerator Bibs. Up top was a mid weight merino base, Duck Oven jacket, and a heavy weight hoodie. I never once thought about the temp or wind, nor did I feel overly bulky with gear. I was only focused on catching fish. Outstanding gear and system.

Warmest pants I’ve owned and stuffs down very small! I take them everywhere I go. Would totally suggest selling with a small stuff sack included but got a waterproof compression sack (10L) for 30$ which fits my hyper down pants and jacket nicely!

Exactly the quality I expect from Sitka. They are soft and warm and feel like a high-end product, which they are. Haven’t had cold temps to really try them out yet but from trying them on they trap heat fast. Super compressible and light. I could see sleeping in them for extra warmth in a light sleeping bag. Or sleeping in them without a sleeping bag in mild temps. One thing that would be cool is if they came in Optifade patterns. Buy your normal size they fit over your layers.

I have run the Sitka 30degree bag for several years. I use a hot tent setup for late season backwoods hunting in the northeast. Weather can vary wildly from single digits and below to 60 degree days. The arm slits and the ability to wear the bag as a coat in the morning is very useful. It also allows me to feed the stove in the middle of cold nights while keeping heat in the bag. As soon as I saw the 15degree bag I picked it up. It is high quality as you would expect and significantly lighter than the 30degree bag. It will fit in an 8l sea to summit evac dry compression bag. Once packed it is tiny. All and all I would recommend.

This is the ultimate insulation layer for your lower body for when the temps really drop. They zip on easily over bulky late season boots and provide a ton of loft because the amount and quality of down. I’m impressed at how warm and functional these pants are and, if I couple it with the HyperDown Jacket and HyperDown 15 Sleeping Bag, I can sleep down below -10F without a heat source.
