These fit and feel great! Will make Wyoming evenings nice when it’s cold!

Light, fit well.

As it is June, can't attest to how warm they are. The fit and feel of them is good. Tried them on over a pair of pants, plenty of room for me. They are lighter than expected, not insulation wise, just weight and packability are lighter than I thought. Definitely not a bad thing.

Perfect Overpant

These fit well over your normal hunting pants. Excellent warmth and you can get in and out easily with your hunting boots on.

Like most things sitka, these are well thought out. Have yet to take them on a hunt but believe I will be happy when I do.

Hyperdown pant

The Hyperdown pant is a game changer in the field. I am outfitter and spend at least 6 days a week on the mountain. These pants are super lightweight and easy to pack around but there seriously bring the heat. I would have never thought a pant that lightweight would keep me so warm. I’ll never be without them.

For late season hunts in the west, these are a must!

Great pant super warm

Waist size was big compared to the thigh volume. I typically wear a L pant with an XL top. Had to size up to XL top and bottom. Very warm.

Hyper warm!

Just got back from a hunt in Colorado. These pants were a game changer. You could definitely tell a difference from when you had the pants on to when you took them off. Pants are super warm and comfortable

Hyper down

I have tested these pants for around 2 weeks. I have a mtn goat hunt in Alaska during the middle of October. These pants are super warm and fit nicely in my system.

Extremely light, packs small, fits true to size and keeps you warm. What else could you ask for?

Great Design

Very light for as warm as they are. Well built, appreciate the full zippered legs and the suspender tabs. Bought them off season but looking forward to having them for those cold winter outings.

Down Pants

Can’t wait to wear these puffy pants. Waiting for the cold season but intend to wear daily in Idaho during cold season. Perfect for sitting in a blind or in the side by side for hours in the cold.

Good fit. Really like the full length zippers. Like the adjustable waist straps. I’ll put them to test this fall glassing for elk!!

Don't know why I waited so long !

Excellent purchase ! Whether in the blind, boat or ice shack. This layer is so light it doesn't even feel like anything was added. Last trip in the boat I was fishing sub 20 degrees with a cold damp wind. I had a mid weight merino base layer, my Hyper Down Pants, and my Incinerator Bibs. Up top was a mid weight merino base, Duck Oven jacket, and a heavy weight hoodie. I never once thought about the temp or wind, nor did I feel overly bulky with gear. I was only focused on catching fish. Outstanding gear and system.

Hyper Down Pant worth it!

Works well and I’ll keep it in my pack for when weather gets cold. They are easy to put on with the side zippers. Well thought out gear!

Hyper down pants

Warmest pants I’ve owned and stuffs down very small! I take them everywhere I go. Would totally suggest selling with a small stuff sack included but got a waterproof compression sack (10L) for 30$ which fits my hyper down pants and jacket nicely!

The pants are lightweight and warm. They are perfect for their intended purpose however i wish they came with a stuff sack.

Perfect Puffy Pant!

Exactly the quality I expect from Sitka. They are soft and warm and feel like a high-end product, which they are. Haven’t had cold temps to really try them out yet but from trying them on they trap heat fast. Super compressible and light. I could see sleeping in them for extra warmth in a light sleeping bag. Or sleeping in them without a sleeping bag in mild temps. One thing that would be cool is if they came in Optifade patterns. Buy your normal size they fit over your layers.

Incredible Light and Packable

I have run the Sitka 30degree bag for several years. I use a hot tent setup for late season backwoods hunting in the northeast. Weather can vary wildly from single digits and below to 60 degree days. The arm slits and the ability to wear the bag as a coat in the morning is very useful. It also allows me to feed the stove in the middle of cold nights while keeping heat in the bag. As soon as I saw the 15degree bag I picked it up. It is high quality as you would expect and significantly lighter than the 30degree bag. It will fit in an 8l sea to summit evac dry compression bag. Once packed it is tiny. All and all I would recommend.

Ultimate insulation layer for your lower body

This is the ultimate insulation layer for your lower body for when the temps really drop. They zip on easily over bulky late season boots and provide a ton of loft because the amount and quality of down. I’m impressed at how warm and functional these pants are and, if I couple it with the HyperDown Jacket and HyperDown 15 Sleeping Bag, I can sleep down below -10F without a heat source.
