Why We Made This

Long sits in frigid, wet weather can be downright miserable. By upgrading our Incinerator Bib to an innovative synthetic insulation that uses trapped air to replicate the warmth and compressibility of down, we’re able to significantly reduce bulk and add warm-when-wet performance. The reduced bulk cuts weight while greatly increasing mobility in the stand. A quiet, waterproof brushed face fabric keeps noise from movement to a minimum.

So far so good . 2 real cold hunts. Worth the money. Fit great with room for multiple layering. 2xl I’m 5’ 8” 230. Inseam too long. Need short fat boy sizes!

The bib is quiet and makes no noise when moving around in a treestand. However, when sitting they are not warm. After walking a short distance, sweat begins to form and becomes unberable. The bib has a flaw in the design, specfically the adjustment buckles on the suspenders are sewn on the Back, not in the Front. To adjust the suspenders, you have to put on the bib, estimate how much slack needs be taken up, slide your arms out of the suspenders, twist the back of the bib to your side to reach the buckles, adjust the buckles, twist the bib to the back, and check if your adjustments were good. If not, repeat the process until the adjustments are good.

I called Sitka asking why the buckles were sewn on the Back rather than on the Front, and was told "that is the way the design team determined where the buckles should be". Seems like the Design Team never actually tried their design prior to sending to production. Would not purchase this bib again.

I purchased these bibs last year and hunted until the end of bow season in Wisconsin. They are absolutely worth every penny. I wore my base layer and a pair of flannel lined pants under these bibs and did not experience the least bit of cold, even in single digit temps. They comfortable, quiet and have easily accessible pockets. If you hunt late season, these bibs are a must.

I was looking for a bib to take on Michigan late season hunts. Durable and breathable enough for tough walks in and setting up my self hanger, while still being warm enough for long sits in single digits. These bibs delivered. The full length zipper let’s you take them on/off without having to balance on one foot, take your boot off, or scrape a boot through the inside and also let you zip from the top down on your walk to vent heat. The pockets are well thought out so you can carry all your essentials on the outer layer. They’re durable and quiet enough for self hanging set up in the morning and stay warm and waterproof during long snow storms. These bibs are definitely worth the price especially if your looking to hunt those tough late season weeks. They can turn those miserable sits that are a constant mental battle to stay in the tree into comfortable hunts and add hours to your late season hunts.

I get cold very easily and these are the warmest bibs I’ve ever owned. Before I tried them I couldn’t believe how thin they were and how they were supposed to keep me warm but so far I’ve hunted single digit weather and had some very cold boat rides and have not once gotten cold yet. Incredibly light and warm at the same time and stops wind to where you can’t even feel it.

Like another person said these are not meant for tree stand hunting and warmth. When you get moving, you get hot and sweaty in them but sitting in 30 degree weather with the sitka heavy weight merino on, I was shivering after about a hour and half into my sit. I am from southern Ohio. Wish I would have went with the fanatic bibs instead and would have saved myself some money. Another thing is they are loud when moving! If we are walking through any thing it sounds like you have a rain suit on. Honestly the only thing they are good at is staying dry. I was hunting and it rained on me and I stayed really dry so I will give it that they are water proof. If it wasn't for that it would be getting a 1 star.

I have used the incinerator line for 3 Wisconsin and Illinois winter deer seasons and it’s the best hunting gear I’ve ever used… Very durable and extremely quite for when I take out the bow. Looks good, feels great and most importantly it has kept me warm in the worst of the Midwest weather I hunt. I just use a thick base layer underneath and it’s good to go.

Everything is very well thought out with the placement of zippers and hand warming pockets. The waterproofing is very good and the bibs are fairly quiet. I am disappointed in their warmth. I sit all day long from a ladder stand or a hang on stand and when the temps dip below 10°F even with layering they are not warm considering their price. Good bibs just not for the extreme cold.

Read what Sitka says about this product and BELIEVE it. It is awesome. I would highly recommend this for any hunter thinking about purchasing. They are super warm, water proof, and LIGHT. You cannot beat these bibs. I have worn many, but these are something special. I love the fit and the pockets. They truly are PERFECT. This is a product I will have for a long time.

Was very hesitant on buying these bibs for the price and because I've tried on the fanatic bibs which feel and look warmer. A Sitka rep assured me this is the warmer bib so I committed. I wanted to "test" it and so I only wore a base layer with these bibs. I hunt in Upstate NY and the morning temp was 18°F with a 5-10mph wind and I was so toasty. I will say after about 2-3 hours I started to get ever so slightly chilled but not enough for me to throw in the towel. I was still warm. Our bodies are designed to shiver when we're cold and no gear system will be 100% if you're not moving. I also paired this with the incinerator jacket in XL. I am 6'4, 210lbs and have a thin frame and the LT was prefect. Worth the money.

I live in Maine and am used to cold temperatures. These bibs are not meant for static tree stand hunting. I wore them with wool base layers and wool pants underneath and was still cold in the mid 30s. Walking around they keep you plenty warm, but not in a tree stand.

Incredible set of bibs. They are incredibly warm, but not suffocating. I walk in and out with these on and have not had to vent the legs. I'm sure long walks would be different, but I couldn’t be happier with this set.

I have these bibs and wore them in SE WI during a rain storm that was 45 degrees with 20 MPH winds into my face. I was wearing just these with a light base layer and I stayed warm, dry and comfortable. Recommend them. I prefer these so far over the Fanatic bibs for the packability. Time will tell as season progresses about warmth vs the Fanatic.
