  • Whitetail : Elevated II
(18 Reviews)

Our warmest waterproof whitetail insulated jacket—made with GORE-TEX fabric—is designed to keep you comfortable on those late season sits when rain or snow settles in. Synthetic PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ technology replicates the characteristics of down insulation, but with warm-when-wet performance and the ability to machine wash often to cut downon scent. It maximizes warmth while minimizing bulk so you can draw your bow or shoulder a rifle unencumbered. The lightly brushed, water-repellent face sheds precipitation while cutting down on noise.

Why We Made This

Long sits in frigid, wet weather can be downright miserable. By upgrading our Incinerator Jacket to an innovative synthetic insulation that uses trapped air to replicate the warmth and compressibility of down, we’re able to significantly reduce bulk and add warm-when-wet performance. The reduced bulk cuts weight while greatly increasing mobility in the stand. A quiet, waterproof brushed face fabric keeps noise from movement to a minimum.

It is a warm jacket and very lightweight but the hood is tiny. It literally doesn't fit on my head and I have a normal sized head. I cut the hood off because it was pointless. Normally I would just say whatever, but if I'm paying almost $700 for a jacket, I expect the hood to at least fit on my head. If you look at the pictures provided by Sitka, you can almost tell that it doesn't even fit the model well. It's designed poorly. It slowly pulls back and takes your hat off. Also, one of the zippers broke after less than a year of use.

Blown away at how light the jacket is and the mobility is great. Deep chest pockets for range finder, phone, etc... Zippers have a good feel to them. You can tell it’s a quality piece. Don’t wait 2-3 years like I did.

I have read the reviews on this Jacket and Bib. I'm going to give the straight honest opinion. You cannot sit in -5°F weather with just this system on. It requires the entire layering system. You need to start with a good base, a middle insulation system and then use the Incinerator to keep it all covered. It is still by far the best outer shell that i have ever worn. You can probably get away with just the incinerator to about 25°F in the north and 32°F in the south.

I freaking love this piece! I have sat in some of the worst weather while deer/coyote hunting and this piece has never left me cold! Anywhere from 32°F with heavy winds to -5° with almost no wind. The Incinerator is unreal. 100% recommend buying the Jacket and Bibs!

I own just about everything in the whitetail line up and have owned the previous Incinerator version. Love the packability but the warmth just isn’t there. I’ll keep it in my arsenal for those heavy precipitation colder hunts but I’ll continue to spend my fall days in the Fanatic as much as the weather allows as I find it much warmer than this suit.

The Incinerator jacket and bibs might be the best piece of gear I own now, I’ve worn this set on days anywhere from 50 degrees to below 10 degrees depending on what I want to layer underneath. Really impressed with how it handles wet weather, and wind. I wanted something less bulky because I hunt out of a saddle, and whole the fanatic series is great for sitting in a tree stand harness but it’s to bulky with the saddle. The Incinerator was absolutely perfect, and it was awesome for slipping the pant legs into my 18” Lacrosse Aero boots. Overall it’s a must have piece of equipment for me now. I highly recommend this set if your a tree saddle hunter and or thinking about becoming a a tree saddle hunter.

I have the incinerator bibs and jacket and they are awesome. I hunt in Wisconsin in any and all weather conditions. Last time I went out it was raining and 33°F with about a 15 mile per hour wind. I sat all day, no problem with only jeans and a T-shirt and sweatshirt underneath. I have also used it in -10°F conditions with little wind late season and have stayed plenty warm with just a couple more base layers.

Jacket is very warm, just way too noisy for whitetail hunting. The zipper and collar crackle in 18°F temperature. I would not buy again. The Fanatic Jacket would have been a better choice.

The fit, warmth, how quiet they are, and plenty of pockets get 5 stars! My one complaint was when I got busted twice due to the outer shell sticking to the tree. It sounded like velcro separating from the tree. I ended up tying a shirt around the tree so my jacket didn't touch the tree. I still recommend Sitka gear and if I could've afforded it, I would have bought the matching pants.

Great jacket. Recently purchased this for the rare cold morning in south east Texas. Used last week in 38°F, 95% humidity, 5-8 mph east wind. Paired with UA3.0 base, Sitka light long crew, Sitka medium hoody. Nice and warm for first 2.5 hours. Did feel the cold slightly more in the last 2 hours of the sit. I’m 5 10, 225lbs and the XL is perfect and allows room for layers without restriction. It’s not a magic bullet, buts a solid jacket. In my opinion the cost is higher than the value after 1 hunt, but if your standing in the rain, being warm and dry would make it worth the $.

The Aerolite Incinerator Jacket is the first piece of Sitka Gear I purchased. After using it for a couple weeks, it certainly has lived up to the Sitka hype. With simply my base layer and a button-up fleece mid-layer, I was very comfortable in my tree stand with temps in the upper 20's. (I also own the Aerolite Incinerator bibs) The jacket is lightweight, has pockets just about everywhere and the standard fit is very comfortable. I did not feel that my movement was restricted at all. I'm 5'10", 200 lbs and a size L is perfect. 10/10, would highly recommend.

Was very hesitant on buying this jacket for the price and because I've tried on the Fanatic Jacket which feels and looks warmer. A Sitka rep assured me this is the warmer jacket so I committed. I wanted to "test" it per say and so I only wore a base layer, the thin hoody they sell and this jacket. I hunt in Upstate NY and the morning temp was 18°F with a 5-10mph wind and I was so toasty. Now I will say after about 2-3 hours I started to get ever so slightly chilled, but not enough for me to throw in the towel. Our bodies are designed to shiver when we're cold and no gear system will be 100% if you're not moving. I also paired this with the Incinerator Bib. I only wore one base layer under the bib. I do wish they made this in a taller size as I am 6'4, 210lbs and have a thin frame. I ordered the XL jacket with the LT bib and while roomy, I would prefer to have the extra room for layers. Worth the money.

Pros: this set looks great and the functionality is top notch. Pockets everywhere, pockets are lined with a synthetic type wool and full zippers on the bibs. Call holder along with range finder pocket on the jacket.

Cons: I bought this specifically to have an extremely warm set of gear. This just simply leaves a lot to be desired. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I could tell it was too “thin” to have much insulation. “Aerolite” tech or not, this stuff is very disappointing in the warmth dept. I have a cheap set of guide gear bibs and coat that are at least as warm as this and was only $280 for the set. If you want a nice, thin set of gear, you will like this. If you are looking for a warm set of gear you will be very disappointed, especially after the price tag.

The Incinerator Aerolite Jacket with the Celsius Midi, Fanatic Hoody, and heavyweight base layer is a game changer. I’ve always used cheap stuff but this gear has performed in the high 20s and low 30s with wind, snow, sleet, and rain.

Just received my Aerolite Blizzard Jacket this week. So have not used it in the field yet. Does fit true to size. Definitely not as bulky as its predecessor. As you can distinctly feel that it’s using air versus bulky insulation. The hood is adjustable and foldable just like the pics on website. Pockets and zippers are great Sitka quality as usual. Good job Sitka ! Will be my go to jacket in cold and wet weather
