Overall fit

Coat is warm as expected, but the fit is bad. I’m 6’4, 240 lbs and in relative good shape. Muscular, lean build. Fit in shoulders and arms is perfect. However, I could swim in the stomach area. Personally feel, especially in this price point, you should have fitting options for taller, leaner builds. Not all 2xl customers are fat asses. Everything else i have from Sitka made for the upper body fits far better than this. Kinda disappointed.

Best Jacket I’ve Ever Purchased

I’ve used an older Sitka jacket for years and hunted some brutal spots and it’s never let me down- except in the rain. After a particularly nasty hunt in wintery mix conditions I decided I needed to upgrade. And I couldn’t be happier I did. This jacket is smaller, warmer, packs down nicely, and most importantly- is waterproof and wind proof.

Nice Jacket

Great warm jacket. . . but

Great jacked with great insulation capabilities and mobility. Zipper can be a bit challenging getting caught in the cloth layers. You need to be very aware when zipping up, otherwise, you will get it caught.

Lightweight

I was very happy with the incinerator jacket. I hunted north west Wisconsin in February with a temp of 0 and warm of 10. I had one layer on underneath and was very warm while moving around. Incredibly light weight for hiking through snow and the woods.

Great jacket minus 1 flaw

The Jacket is awesome! It keeps me super warm and dry while not feeling bulky compared to puffy competitors. Range of motion is great even when saddle hunting. I get cold easily so if you do as well, drop the cash and stay in the hunt longer! One huge flaw. The zipper. 75% it works. 25% you spend 2-3 minutes trying to get the zipper past a certain point in the process, which if you pack the jacket in and try and put it on in the woods, it’s not exactly quiet when you’re doing the zipper song on your zipper guitar. Hopefully Sitka reads this and tells me they have a fix for this zipper and send me a new jacket, but time will tell.

Incinerator jacket and bibs

Got my new gear and tried it out on the coldest day of the season. That morning it was 5 degrees. I have to admit it is everything as advertised. Stayed warm for the entire hunt. I didn’t have to put on many layers like I did with my old gear so I had plenty of movement. I’m a believer!! Best gear I’ve ever purchased.

Incinerator Jacket is all you need for late season hunts.

Noisy

For the price point of this jacket and the materials that they claim it is very noisy when you’re sitting up against a tree Whitetail hunting and I do not find it to be as warm as they claim the wind proofing is excellent, but you definitely need to build your layers underneath it

Warm for a jacket at

Very warm for a jacket. Jacket zipper was incorrectly sewn in from factory, had to return it for repair, process was very long and not very user friendly. It was a bit confusing because of emails from different entities at what seemed random times.
