Good but not Great

Probably the best flip-mitt or glomitt available, in terms of warmth. Thick insulation makes them warm enough for the real cold months. Toss in a hand warmer and you can stay comfortably warm for long periods. The drawbacks are in the design. The mitts are unreasonably tight across the knuckles, making the "flip" function difficult. Plus, the magnets are weak and useless at times. Also, the hand warmer pocket opening is right were you tuck your fingers when using the mitt, and once again makes the functionality kind of tricky. If they were to turn the hand warmer opening around, it wouldn't be a problem. Lastly, Sitka refuses to update the product photo for the flip-mitt. They continue to show the earlier model that was fleece with black leather. The current model is a poly type material with gray synthetic leather. False advertising on their part. Without question, I'd rather have the fleece and leather.

Super practical and warm. They

Super practical and warm. They saved my fingers during some of the hunts. However, even with the extra small, the finger length was quite a bit longer than mine, so I haven’t found confidence with shooting with the inner gloves yet. The magnet is not very strong, but it’s strong enough. With these being so unique, I still give them 5 stars.

The warmest gloves

I bought these in hopes that they’d keep my hands warm in late deer season in Maine. My fingertips are almost always cold. These gloves are AWESOME. Easy on and off if needed, or just flip the mitten back. I sat for hours as it snowed inches on me and never once got cold. 100% worth it.

Good fit and versatile

Gloves slide on easily, have a long enough cuff and easily cinch tight. Warm with the mitts flipped up and dexterous enough to run tripods and spotting scopes with the gloved fingers. Found they weren’t quite as waterproof as I’d like, glassing sessions left some dampness in the gloves when leaning on snow. Good for cold and dry climate.

Mitten magnet

The only reason I didn’t give this glove 5 stars is the mitten/flip aspect. The magnet is non existent and the mitten part flaps around and gets in the way. Other than that the gloves fit nice, they keep me warm when the mitten part is flipped down, the dexterity is good for a glove that will keep you warm on a real cold day.
