Fits great and true to

Fits great and true to size. Great comfortable cut and shape of pant. Downside, the kneepad pockets load from the top with a small overlap of the same lightweight mesh material. This 'pocket' is where my feet want to go when putting the pants on. The pocket will likely get cut and removed, as the new mesh material also chafes on the knee significantly more (than say the old timberline knees pockets)

The only complaint I have

Intercept pant

These are an active fit and true to size. I bought these in both the green and the Subalpine camo. The green I chose 1 size larger to layer for cooler spring hunting. I wish the side vents had a mesh lining as I am a woman buying mens pants but otherwise it's a great light weight pant. I love the articulated knees and pads.

Delicate but feature rich

The Intercept Pant is an average performer with some good features and technology. What it lacks in durability, it makes up for in comfort and features. The Intercept Pant is a premium option for early archery hunters and is ranked as a 4/5 durability. I was disappointed that a branch tore a hole in the knee on the first day and durability should be lowered. The repair costs for a single tear in the knee is ~44% of the MSRP price. The pants are loaded with features like kneepads and heat vents with highly technical fabric that stretches and breathes well. I would recommend these pants to someone who is gentle with gear and hunts in a forgiving environment.

A little baggy

Great pant, looks like they will be a little tougher than some other Sitka pants I’ve worn. Fit was surprisingly baggy for me. I’m usually more worried about Sitka stuff fitting me like a glove. For the money I think the traverse pant are as good as they get.

Love Sitka technical clothing, it is mostly all I wear to scout and hunt in through all the seasons, but these pants are crazy expensive and sadly my opinion is that they really aren’t worth it nor do they solve any problem that warrants that price tag.
