Archey season pants

These pants are awesome, super quiet and comfortable. They fit extremely well too. Will own more pairs. The vents need to be incorporated in more of your pants!

Small, as usual

Like most sitka gear, it runs small. I wear pants with a 36" waist. Knowing sitka gear runs small, I ordered these in a size 38" waist, they were still to small so I had to return them for a size 40" waist

Perfect pant for Western Hunting

Very quite, fits well. Little tight in the waist but good. Love the breathable zips and the knee pads in the rocks. Cleaned up well with blood stains.

Intercept Pants

Comfortable light weight pants perfect for early mid season hunts. Quiet for stalking comes with knee pads. If things heat up they put side zips to release the heat. Overall a great addition to the gear.

Good pants

I am surprised how warm these are for as light as they are. When I got them in the mail. I was a little disappointed that they were so light but I wore them out deer hunting on a chilly day with no base layer and I think we surprised. The biggest negative is only two pockets. So wallet and phone and your pockets are full… wish there was at least one leg pocket or back pocket. Knee pads are great! I usually wear 33x32 jeans and the 34’s fit great. 5’11” and 195 lbs

My favorite bow hunting pant

Quiet and comfortable. Breathes well and just gets the job done.

Great Pant

This has been a great light weight pant for my hunting trips as love the flexibility when climbing in and out of stands. The waist is true to size But I did order the tall as I do like the extra length over my boots. I am 5'11" and the tall is a great fit for me!!!

Perfect early to mid season pant. Comfortable, durable, quiet, lightweight and the zips to dump heat are awesome. 5’ 6” 165lbs and the 32s fit perfect. Absolutely recommend.

Sitka Quality!

Great piece of gear as expected with the Sitka brand. A little pricey but great pants with the mid-weight base layer under them.

Great pants

Awesome fit. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs and got 32 tall and couldn't be happier. Classic sitka design thinking about everything. Vents are really nice, they open up to bare skin so can really keep your temp where you want it easily. Slightly thin material but still warmer than expected and seems durable as well. Here in colorado it's hard to dress because mornings are pretty cold and your sweating by mid morning from the hike but sitka makes everything packable and all products are well thought out. I wouldn't wear these in winter without an under layer but perfect for fall seasons here. Pants were true to size so order what your normally would but if your a taller guy 6' or over I'd I'd recommend the tall size if it's available

Must have for early to mid season

I hunt pa in some really thick and rugged areas. These pants bush the thorns right off! I also love that they r breathable so you can layer as needed and have them as a camp outer layer

Good pant

Been running the previous version for years, many stalk and kills! Wore them so much you can pretty much see-through them now. Happy with the new version, I wish there was some type of mesh on the side vents to prevent the bugs to come in, but they work great to manage heat.

Great pants!

These pants are incredibly comfy. Also very quiet which is my favorite part. The biggest issue I have with these pants is the lack of the mesh vent backing when you unzip to vent your legs. I also wish these were available in more colors/patterns.

Do all pants!

These pants worked flawlessly on my recent Wyoming elk hunt. I was comfortable in temperatures from the 20s to the 70s.

Nice Pants

I love that these are merino wool based. They fit and function well. The removable knee pads are a bonus. I typically wear them without them but could use them for saddle hunting. Another great Sitka product.

Best Pant for the field and work

These pants are extremely comfortable and durable. Making them my daily choice for any circumstance.

The intercept pant is the best elk pant I’ve ever used by far! Super quiet! Light weight! Just enough warmth on the cool September mornings and when it heats up or making long trips the vents are amazing for dumping heat and cooling off!

The Best Pant Sitka Makes

These are my favorite Sitka pants. I wear them from August antelope hunting to mid-season whitetail. They are quiet, durable and provide great comfort for the long trips into the backcountry during archery elk.

Very comfy and the vents

Very comfy and the vents are an excellent edition. They're not as quiet as true wool pants but they make up for it elsewhere. These are going to be my go to pants until the weather gets nasty.

I like these pants for

I like these pants for archery elk. They breathe well when doggin the herd and are nice and quiet when closing the distance. only thing that would make them better is if I didn’t get a wedgie while hiking and they had back pockets.

Good pants

Wore these pants for ten days straight on an elk hunt and they seem to be holding up well. They have a pretty slim fit, if you have bigger thighs, I would size up. The hip vents are great when you need them. I like the knee pads and I think they’ll really shine hunting whitetails from a saddle. The cargo pockets are a little small and have a very thin divider that gets in the way. With gloves on, I couldn’t feel the divider and had a hard time getting items in and out of the pocket. The divider needs to be more substantial or removed completely. I will be cutting mine out.

Shockingly Good

I’ve beaten the everliving snot out of these pants for the last two seasons and have been shocked as to how well they’ve done. A little warm for some early season hunts, but I’ve found myself wearing them from late August to December since I got them. Quiet, durability is seriously impressive, and the fit is spot on. They will stretch out a little bit after a couple days of backpack hunting, but it was never an issue. Only wish there were more colors though.

Charge us $5 more for back pockets

Everything the pant advertises is true - flexibility/vents/knee pads etc. All of that is great... but they're lacking something that all other pants have. BACK POCKETS. Why? Even the sitka pants without vents lack back pockets. Back pockets were always, and always be, useful - I really can't figure out why sitka decided to drop them. I admittedly didn't notice that they didn't have back pockets when i ordered, but dang it was annoying while actually hunting to not have an empty pocket to put headlamps, cliff bar wrappers etc in without having to take your pack off

Great Pant

These pants have a lightweight lining that performs well in mid-season hunts. The material and fit is highly conducive mountain hunting.

Intercept Pant Solid Colorway

Fit - these pants are stretchy. I’m 6’-1 215 lbs & I ordered a 36” regular inseam. Fit is perfect but the knee pads ride below my knee caps, so I wear without the pads. This is my only reasoning for 4 stars. These are probably the most comfortable pants I own. I got the solid color and I wear them to work, the range, even to coach youth hockey in. They have a waffle pattern on the interior face of the fabric and are warm yet breathable. The hip zips are awesome for hiking and dumping heat. I wish they came in more solid color options. I would own one in every color.
