I bought these for a light weight hiking pant and also for Pennsylvania bear drives. The unforgiving rocks and mountain laurel have left my shins and knees battered and bruised so I wanted something with a knee pad in them. Pants are great. The material is tougher than I thought, but haven’t worn on a rough outing yet to truly test them. Knee pads are small enough to not bother you while walking, but big enough to work great when shooting archery from a kneeling position. Fit could be a tad better. The 32R length is tad bit long for me but not an issue when wearing boots. I’m normally a 32 waist, 30 length for reference.

I am wearing my new Intercept pants on an exotic hunt in Texas. They are performing well. The temperatures have ranged from the high 40's to the low 80's. I've been comfortable through that whole range. They are whisper quiet, which is my favorite feature. My only wish is that the inseam were 1 inch longer so they don't pull up over my quarter-top boots when I sit. I am 6'2" and ordered a 36T. If I were any taller the pants would be too short.

Love these pants for comfort and daily use. Wish there was mesh in the size vip vents, the allow breathe ability and privacy. They open right to the ass and don’t go down far enough the be used to shed layers. The knee pad pouches on the inside are open from the top so when pulling up the pants, I’ve snagged the opening with my foot a couple times and heard stitching rip. Wish they were open on the bottom or had a flap that would more or less seal the top opening to prevent this.

Love these pants! I’d wear them everyday if I could. I’ve had the Timberline pant for several years and wanted to try these as they had the side vent zippers. The new knee pad material and how you can remove them are great! Being able to remove the pads from the side zips without having to turn the pants inside out is great. They don’t have back pockets, but that doesn’t bother me at all cause I’ve never been one to store wallets or other items in them. More form fitting then the timberline which I like; less baggy material at the bottom to get hung up on trees and brush. I wore these in a late November hunt with thermals underneath and they kept me warmer than expected.

Used these on an Idaho backcountry archery elk hunt in dead forest for 5 days. Finally a Sitka pant with hip vents! I loved the Apex pant and these are basically the Apex with hip vents. The vents are really big allowing a ton of ventilation. I have a love hate relationship with the hip vents since they don’t have a mesh lining inside the zipper. If you have them open while walking through a lot of vegetation or tall grass you will have stuff fall inside your pant leg. If they had mesh liners they wouldn’t vent as good and wouldn’t open as far so I just close them when I walk through fields and dense brush. Face fabric is silent, knee pads are great, and the zipper on the hip vents are tiny but really smooth. I only need one hand to zip or unzip them making them really easy to adjust on the go. Fit is trim but not tight.

I’ve been struggling with finding a Sitka pant that fits me well. I 6ft tall and slimmer (28-30” waist). Most pants are either too big in the waist or too short in the length.
