I bought this hat for my boyfriend who loves to hunt. He has been looking for a nice hat to hunt in so I thought this would be a good option. He says his head stays very warm and it fits very well.

I purchased the Jack stream

I purchased the Jack stream and it was one of the best things I did absolutely loved. It kept me warm all winter very pleased highly recommend.

This thing is money! I have worn this on late hunts in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, and have had zero issues keeping my head cozy.

Does the job

It’s a bit thicker than I would have liked. Which it is probably for the better, when the wind is cold. For a beanie for all season I would have liked something thinner/lighter. But for the cold days, this is the beanie for me.

Great Cold Weather Beanie.

Just love this beanie. I have several of them now to match in Subalpine, Elevated II and Open Country. Wish it was available in black. I pack this beanie in as it is way too warm to walk in. Get to your stand, cool down a bit and on it goes. you are set for your sit in the wind and cold without any worries about being warm.

Extremely warm. There needs to be multiple sizes , because one size fits all doesn’t fit work. I don’t have a big head 7 1/8 baseball cap, and the beanie doesn’t cover my ears all the way leaving them exposed to the wind and cold.

Only reason I gave 4 stars, is I have a Boone and Crockett kinda head. A size larger would have been great but a good hair cut and it was snug. Not Sitka's fault, God made me this way

I love Sitka, I have a lot of different items from them, but this hat being one size doesn’t fit most. I don’t have a large head, I wear regular sized hats but this hat doesn’t stretch at all. It would be great if you had one larger size.

Hat fit good and feels like it’d be warm but the material is very noisey when brushing against collar or hood. Got this and the jet stream handmuff. Paid for 2 day shipping and took over 5 business days from when it shipped. Didn’t recieve them in time for season. Returned both.

Very nice and warm. The fabric is a little noisy when scanning your surroundings looking for game as it can rub on a collar or hood. It's a bit not picky, but I hunt with traditional archery equipment and I have to have the game up close and personal under 20 yards. The Fanatic hat is quieter. But this hat is well built and warm.

Nice, but…

Really nice hat, well made. Only 3 stars because, it runs short,if you move it rides up on your head and the tips of your ears are exsposed . Other thing is ont the website, it shows the front of the hat with the Sitka logo and the Sitka name below it, when I received the hat it just had the logo, no word.

Needed a warm blaze orange hat for PA whitetail season and this is perfect. Super warm and wind resistant. I wish Sitka made a blizzard gtx style insulated cap in orange but this is great for what I needed.

Great for cold weather. . .

Soft, comfortable and really keeps the head warm. Better for when you are glassing for extended periods of time. Can get too hot while hiking, I would suggest something with less insulation.
