This thing is absolutely great and if you aren't moving around, you really need this. Very warm and quiet but also very versatile as you can use this in a variety of ways. Really great for when I'm in a tree as I don't like to wear big bulky gloves and this basically makes it to where I don't have to.

This saved my hands during some Coyote hunts during an arctic blast in the Midwest. I just toss a hot hands pack in with this and my hands warms up and stay warm easily when I tuck them inside. Also, this muff is much wider and seems to be more insulated than other brands.

This muff is perfect in the fact that it’s quick shelter for your hands in cold conditions and for those, like myself, who don’t like to wear gloves when shooting. The hook inside the pouch to hold your keys is also clutch. The knock on this item is that it’s not as warm as you’d think. I have loaded this up with 4+ hand warmers and it still does not get warm. I’m not sure if it’s over engineered with too much insulation but warmers can’t heat through to warm up the muff. Last hunt I needed to wear gloves and put my hands with gloves inside the muff. If you make the mistake of leaving this in your truck before your hunt you will be cold. I think this needs to be reengineered in the lab and updated. After a couple of years of wearing it now, I still use it but am overall disappointed with both the material inside for your hands and the overall technical attributes of the muff itself.

Got this especially for layout blind hunting where elbow room is at a premium. Having this front and center, where hands need to be for quick calling and shooting responses makes all the difference. One HotHands Super Warmer pack inserted 30 min prior to blind time, makes this muff an absolute heat bank for cold hands. Last weekend, the muff was still warm inside 24 hours later. . . while it was freezing temps outside. Can't recommend this enough!

It’s a must. Without a doubt. If you want warm hands buy this. Its expensive but you won’t regret a single penny. I don’t like to wear gloves when I bow hunt and this lets me do that in sub 20 degree weather. Quiet, warm, and with the built in hand warmer sleeves on the inside you’ll be set for whatever nature throws at you. I use the front pocket to hold extra hand warmers or to store my rechargeable ones so I never forget them in the truck. 10/10, just buy it.

I bought this muff after a particularly cold handed day out in the woods bowhunting. Since buying this muff, I've actually had my hands feel too hot. This muff on its own really helps keep your hands warm, especially because you can rub your hands together inside of it. Add some hand warmers, and it takes comfort to the next level. Temp was 32 with windchill of 15 wind froze out two people sitting on north side of blind. When I switched didn’t feel the wind at all. Sorry, but I will never understand why you would make any hunting item so noisy. It’s a nice item and typical Sitka quality. Just way too noisy, especially for bowhunting. Would probably work good for waterfowling or the like.

Small, works well to keep hands warm. I like the inside pockets for hand warmers and the zipper pocket for storage. It would be helpful if the belt was detachable since it gets in the way a little. Clips situated a little differently would male it more useful with non-Sitka gear and more compact with a removable belt
