This is a great light

This is a great light weight mid layer or stand alone soft shell. It's quiet. I wish it had slightly longer sleeves, maybe 1". The extra 1" would be good for me, I'm taller and a slimmer to medium build and without having a tall version, longer sleeves would be good. Also some Velcro on the sleeve cuffs would make this a first rate jacket. It's nice when things get cold to button down and keep the wind out. Overall this is a great jacket but would it be in a league of its own with these adjustments.

Wind Breaker

I haven’t tested the jacket in the field yet and it may be a while with the warming weather in Ga. I bought it to use as an extra layer for early morning boat rides. After trying it on I feel it will be up to the task. Pocket layout is good and fit is a smidge big. One of the cinch buttons on the hood draw string is a little finicky and doesn’t click like the other side. Hoping it works while in use.

Sleeve length

Great jacket for everything. Perfect jacket to use as a top/outer layer. Just remember these jackets are designed for layering when ordering, so if you try it on with nothing but a base layer on, the sleeves may seem to be too long. This will go away when you put a thicker piece on and then tis jacket over it. When I put on my kelvin jacket and then the jet stream it fits perfectly for the length of my arms. I had to get a 2x because I am a very broad guy and I am only 5'9" tall, so the chest is perfect the sleeves are a little long if I'm not layering with this piece. No complaints about durability or anything else.

Nice if it fits.

Early stages, time will tell with durability. I like the fabric, pit zips, and versatility. Functionally great. Fit is odd on me, I definitely wouldn't fit a large, but XL fits oddly loose in shoulders and chest. Back feels shorter than the front for some reason, which I'm not in love with. Regardless of how it fits ME, I would say it's true to size. It's super uncomfortable on bare skin, with seams everywhere. Don't recommend wearing with just a T shirt.

i expected this to be a bit heavier (as far as insulated), I wore this during a scouting trip and got rained on, this held off all raid and kept me warm, i may have ordered a bit too large (3x) , but this leaves me room for layers under it. not 5 stars because it's missing some vents and pockets of previous models (arm storage and chest venting) note: this does have large vents under the arms to help with overheating when walking in warmer weather

The perfect all around jacket

If you could only buy one jacket, this should be it. There is a reason it is a best seller. Good warmth and complete wind protection. In the whitetail woods that is critical. It obviously doesn’t replace a late season kit for the when the temps really drop. But it will get you down to the 40’s comfortably.

Such a staple in any gear list. Venting is perfect for early season but still a necessity in any late season hunt for extra warmth or an outer layer for those high country hunts when the wind whips. Seems nice but runs big and stinks/smells.

Was very excited for this purchase, but the jacket fits awkward. I'm usually a standard large for Sitka gear, but the belly/waist fits like an XL and the sleeves fit like a medium. Also, the jacket smelled coming out of the package. Smell would not air out nor wash out. Would not recommend.
