I have worn this piece multiple days afield now and it’s amazing. Breathable, warm, durable and flexible. Highly recommended.

Windproof but Needs Improvement

It's a decent jacket overall, functionally it's great but the sizing is odd. I'm Medium in every peice of clothing but the Medium is tight in the chest & shoulder area, when I moved to a large it was oddly still tight in the chest, but the rest of the jacket is to large, like on the sleeves and stomach.

A little tight

Overall the Jetstream is a great piece of gear. I am 5'11" 180 lbs, and the sleeves are a bit short, this may be strategic but the L size feels a bit tight in general. I purchased online, otherwise I would have tried on an XL for comparison. Either way the L is not too tight for use, and the quality is outstanding.

Great softshell jacket

Fits true to size. Light and warm. Blocks the wind nicely. Haven't had the chance to test the water-resistance yet. The fleece backer does not "stick" to flannel shirts, sweaters, etc, which is a pet peeve I've had with similar jackets.

Great jacket. It is VERY warm. I wore three layers on a cold hunt thinking this was like most jackets and ended up having to shed everything while hiking cause I was too warm. This is great with about one other layer if you are moving at all. The jacket stops the wind completely. The pit zips are great for shedding heat. The fabric is very durable. Overall, I am very pleased with this jacket!

Love the jacket the windproof is second to none! However the sleeve cuffs are terrible nothing to close them or make them tighter

It’s a great shell. I wish it had cuff straps to seal off wind coming up the arm.

Great jacket depending on use

This jacket is well constructed and cuts the wind as advertised. It is noisy so you are definitely not archery hunting out of this. The pit zips are legit. It does run a bit tight so size up if layering underneath.

Excellent Jacket

I love the Jetstream, so much I own two of them! I have one in Subalpine that is my go-to hunting jacket and one in Mud that is my go-to everyday jacket. This jacket stops the wind, is warm, and breathable. The pit zips are great for dumping excess heat if you do get to hot. You won't regret buying this jacket, it will quickly become your best friend both on town and in the field.

Great jacket, No opening for harness strap

Jacket is comfortable, pockets well placed, top pocket is ok, not too big, so if you own a big screen phone this won't work for you, silent and with the finished quality for which Sitka is known for, but there is a but, in my opinion a big BUT, jacket does not have an opening in the back for a harness strap, so this makes the hood useless if you are using a safety harness as I always do, the other option is wearing the harness over the jacket, which it's senseless, most harness are used over your layers and run strap through jacket so you don't need adjustments when changing jackets, I don't know how Sitka miss this detail, my Blizzard aerolite (best winter jacket I own) has it.

Excellent Performer

This jacket does exactly what it says it will do. . . . . block the wind, resist moisture, and provide a comfortable and warm fit. In spite of this, if you don't get one on sale it's not a real good value.

Great jacket for

I hunted 4 days with this jacket in northeastern CT for whitetail in November. Great water resistance, Good amount of pockets and quiet zippers. I like the way the hood fits and the fact that it has pit vents. Only improvement I would suggest is that it have a zipper in the back for a harness lanyard so you can use the hood in the tree stand. Fit is athletic, nice fit and true to size.

Jetstream jacket

Love the flexibility this jacket gives me. As a shell I can layer up for temp or activity level. There are only a few things I’d add. One, some type of cuff or velcro to close the end of the sleeve and two, the sizing is more fitted than I’d like. Had to size up and the sleeves are now a bit long. Otherwise the wind blocker works well.

Warm enough for 50’s if sitting.

If you’re cold natured and on a long sit, you’ll need another layer if it’s below 50. XL didn’t leave room for a bulky under layer

Jet stream

This is a very versatile hunting jacket. I get warm easily and the side vents allow me to cool down quickly. The adjustable drawstrings on the hood is fantastic and are easily retractable. having all of the pockets, especially the ones on the front left and right sides of the chest for my gadgets or game calls.

I got this jacket for a Canada trip this year and I could not have been more pleased with it. This is going to be one of my everyday wears this season. Love the ventilation in the jacket, helps you stay at a comfortable temperature.
