Jacket is comfortable, easy to zip and hood is just the right size to keep your head dry without hindering your vision. The gortex does a great job keeping the water from soaking in.

This is a really nice jacket. I've been wearing the jetstream jacket alot this spring. The outer fabric appears to be very rugged. The jacket looks good, fits great, and is very comfortable. Like all my sitka purchases, I'm glad I got it!

If you’re to buy ONE

If you’re to buy ONE item let it be a Jetstream Jacket. I freaking love this thing. It’s ok it bulky. It’s not heavy. I think this makes the greatest boat jacket. I wear it duck hunting but it’s an even better jacket for the boat. Screw a rain jacket for a wind breaker. Make this your wind breaker. I wish I would have bought one sooner.

My go to jacket. I

My go to jacket. I have three. One for upland hunting in the fall and the other two for casual everyday use in the fall and spring. It is nice to have a warm jacket that cuts the wind and is weather resistant but not so heavy that I am wet from sweat after one upland push. Plus it has vents to cool off in case the weather warms up throughout the day. Best all around jacket I have ever owned.

Have not tested this jacket

Have not tested this jacket in hunting conditions, but seems like it will serve me well. I find that the breathability of a soft shell jacket is worth the sacrifice of a truly waterproof jacket.

Newer version is still great!

I love my older version Jetstream. Guided in the new version all spring. Doesn't fit as tight but it was still amazing!

Great jacket! I've been using

Great jacket! I've been using it all spring in northern Yukon Territory. Excellent windbreaker with a little bit of insulation. I've been pairing it with a down vest during the early morning or sitting around camp at night, and it's perfect. I'm about 165lbs, 5'10 and ordered a large. Sleeves are a tiny bit longer than I normally wear, but otherwise it fits exactly how I would want an outer shell to fit with and without extra layers underneath. The vents are great as well, fantastic jacket! I use a Sitka system for all of my Yukon hunting, river trips, and back country camping. This tops off the system perfectly.

This jacket runs true to size if you’re built like an athlete, namely how everyone can and should be built for health’s sake. The Jetstream Jacket won’t give up on you before you chose to give up on yourself! Go get after it!

Quality and fit is perfect.

Quality and fit is perfect. I live in NM where the wind never stops. I wear this almost daily and it completely takes the wind out of the equation. Great as part of your layering system or on April 25th when you just need a light jacket.

Fishing mostly

I typically run a tiller walleye boat and this coat works wonderfully so long as I wear a wool undergarment. It truly blocks the wind and I have no complaints

This jacket is a great

This jacket is a great addition to my gear. I trust Sitka Gear always…it is gear. Keeps the Wyoming and Colorado wind off me while in the elements. Pits zips are a huge bonus with this jacket. I highly recommend.

Versatile Workhorse

This jacket is amazing. I like how it is thinner than the previous version in order to add versatility. I have mine in Timber and it works very well for turkey around me. I'm 6', 182 and the L fits great. It's a looser fit than the previous version, which helps with layering. Zippered pits help when on the move. DWR helps in light rain. Jacket blocks wind very well, giving you the ability to wear less insulation, giving you even more temp control with the pit zips. I'd like the Jetstream to be even thinner to give more layering options to extend the range. The jacket also has less pockets. The sleeve pocket for mouth calls was great in the previous version but, did show signs of wear as it was a thin, stretchy material. It's isn't too packable but, given it's versatility, it will me on your body more than in a bag. I strap mine to the outside of my bag when it's too warm to walk fast when scouting but, too chilly to sit without it.
