Love these jackets. Blocks wind like no other. I like the newer style fit. It seems to have more room in the forearms than my previous version which is great when layering a down jacket under it.

Fantastic outer shell for all types of hunting. Wind blocker is second to none. Different fit than other Sitka jackets. Size up at least one maybe 2 sizes especially if you want to wear it in cold temperatures with a good amount of layering. Overall impressed as usual with Sitka.

My closet and drawers are full of Sitka products. They all fit and perform very well. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 stars is the cuffs are very snug and not adjustable. The coat goes on ok but in order to get it off I have to pull it off by turning the sleeves inside out.

I purchased this jacket at the last minute for a trip to Ireland/London (March). Can't say enough good things about this! Stopped wind. Warm. Rained and I stayed dry. Jacket fit well - size M - I am an athletic build.

I normally wear a large.I normally wear a large but after reading reviews I decided to order an XL light layering underneath should be fine very well made good quality but it’s is expensive!!

I’ve used this for days on the boat when it was windy, definitely is wind proof and water proof, it is warm and a comfortable mid weight jacket.

A buddy and I have a fair amount of Sitka Gear. We both have the specific items for tailored to meet each of our specific outdoor pursuits. We were talking about; “what if we just got one, which would it be?” Which one is adapted to the most situations? We agreed probably the Jetstream. It’s not the warmest (there’s warmer ones but where we live that’s not really the priority need). It does a really good job of stopping the chilling effect of the wind. It’s not a slicker, but it keeps you dry in an unexpected storm. It’s not the most packable but it’s not bulky. It has pit zips to dump heat, if needed. All pockets are zipped. It’s well constructed, durable, quiet, and fits true to advertised size guide. I like it as my outer garment when I layer for changing temperatures. And it’s a great jacket for any person (male or female whether they are hard core outdoor enthusiasts or not) because it not only comes in all the camouflage patterns to fit your need but it also comes in great solid colors too. My wife and are getting one for a friend whose daughter just got accepted to graduate school. It’s a great looking jacket and I know she’ll like it and get tremendous use of it.

Well made and fits 5’11 and 220 lbs

This jacket is super well made and fits 5’11 and 220 lbs just right. The sleeve length fits perfectly on me, but if you’re shorter than 5/11 the sleeves might be a little bit longer. I will have plenty of space underneath to have my waiters on and maybe a couple thin bass layers. I will be using this for steelhead fishing in New York in April as a windbreaker and a bit of insulation in a multi layer outfit.

WOW!

When I’m wearing this jacket I barely even notice there is wind! I try to get the tall sizes when I can. The length of sleeves are always good but torso lengths are always short on me when I get regular sizes. Also with base layer and grinder hoody on underneath it isn’t too tight but is somewhat snug. Don’t get me wrong though I love this jacket and all of their products that I own!

Perfect Jacket

This is the perfect jacket for the spring turkey season in Kentucky. It can go from winter to spring to summer all in the same day. This jacket keeps the wind and cold off you and the air vents in the sleeves keep you from overheating just as advertised. The Jetstream folds up and fits in my equinox turkey vest when it warms up. This was a good purchase for me.

The jetstream is my go to everyday/everyuse jacket. I would say it's more of an athletic fit and was tight in armpits for me with just a baselayer, so I say it runs a tad on the tight side. I opted to send my XL back for a 2XL which is a little large fit for me but overall I have room to layer and it doesn't seem to tight a fit.

I wear this jacket almost every day that I'm in the mountains. It's not super warm on its own, but it makes a great outer layer. I usually combine it with a lightweight hoodie underneath it.

I bought this jacket and have worn it almost every day. it is very warm. blocks the wind and water runs right off of it. I would not wear as a rain jacket however when caught in a few snow and rain storms it has kept me warm and dry. I wear it trout fishing quite a bit too.

I have it in open country. I’ve had one for a few years. This one is a little bit different, but looks great on me.

I absolutely love these, I have a lot! I hope the pattern never gets updated. They are extremely comfortable and the fit is awesome. I appreciate the extra material in the back. Functionally its hands down one of my favorite pieces. I am 5'11.5" 185 lbs.

Wind cutting warm layer

This Jetstream Jacket offers the wind protection I need. I like wearing layers and this allows me to have that top layer that will work well into the late season here in Southeast PA.

Im about 185lbs and 5’9” and find the Jet-stream jacket in LG to fit great over a light base layer also in LG and the Jetstream vest in MD. Also have the Downpour jacket in LG and that fits perfectly over the Jetstream jacket. From past experience I expect these to last many years…small price to pay in the long run. It’s important to me that each layer works with other pieces before investing. I went to Sportsman’s and tested all that out previously then waited for these to go on sale. Satisfied with the purchase. Sitkagear designs quality equipment.

Great jacket

I’ve already worn this jacket several times as I’ve been out on the property doing chores with light rain, a little bit of wind, and temps between 50 and 60. It’s a lite weight jacket but certainly withstands the elements. It is cut small so if you plan on layering but one size larger. Also it’s a little noisy for me for bow hunting but would work as a layer under something quieter.
