I love this jacket. I’m 6’3 245lbs usually take an XL in Sitka gear. Purchased in both XL and XXL, the XXL fit better and gave me more room to move. Returned the XL with no problem. Customer service was great.

Jetstream

Have yet to wear it in the stand, but fits really great and layers well over my traverse jacket. Hoping to wear the two in the 30-40s temps.

Jetstream is the jacket you need.

This is one of the best all-around pieces Sitka offers. The right wind and rain protection that is needed from the tree stand to the mudboat. Enough warmth to use most days in the field. Comfort and mobility are on point with this jacket. Wear with layers or a as standalone. Quiet enough for whitetail, stylish enough for a country wedding.

Windproof

Feels tough and windproof just like a proper shell jacket should. I'm 6'1" and 200lbs and the large fits well if you like a more modern fit.

My Favorite Jacket

I have struggled for years to find the best softball for my outdoor endeavors. I’ve had many nice softshells for backpacking so why couldn’t I find a nice hooded softshell for hunting? Well the Jetstream is the answer for. It’s light enough to cover miles in modest weather without overheating yet it’s warm enough and windblocking enough to use for early season turkey or deer hunting. The hood fits great and allows peripheral viewing. The jacket is well made and well thought out. While not waterproof, it is highly water resistant and has shed light showers well while DWR kept the jacket from wetting out. The fit is athletic and fits me well. I can’t layer a ton under it but I can layer a merino wool base and my equinox guard easily and comfortably. I haven’t worn it for late season deer but sure I could layer over it when needed. I like this so much that I plan to get another non camo version for everyday wear around town.

I like it a lot, only problem is Sizes. The Camo Colors fit a little tighter than the Solid Colors on this.

Tried the jacket on initially. Seems to fit true to size. Will not be wearing item until this fall for white tail hunting.

Jacket works great for blocking the wind and some rain! Seems to be nice and warm when worn with a long sleeve shirt. A little cooler when thrown over a tee shirt because of the pit zips.

Quality Product

Very satisfied with my recent purchase of the Jetstream Jacket. The jacket is not too thick which allows you to still be mobile and not restricting. But also at the same time keeping you warm and out of the elements.

I've just received my Jetstream and have worn it around town a couple of times. I took it to watch a rugby tournament in a light rain and stayed bone dry. The pit vents helped mitigate moisture. This fits me fine but Sitka gear usually runs small so I may have issues with getting an insulation layer on underneath, but I'm actively losing weight so perhaps it won't be an issue next hunting season. Sitka gear is top quality and well designed and this jacket exemplifies this statement.

Amazing Jacket

What an amazing, durable jacket.

My favorite outer layer

6’1” 250lb XL fits perfectly. At my belly size there is just enough room. When I shed a few pounds this will be even better. As it is, it fits perfectly as an outer layer jacket for cooler days. I can see why this is Sitka’s best selling jacket. I love how the hood folds down completely out of the way. I don’t even notice the hood until I need it. It is a thin, insulated layer that keeps me warm even in the wind.

Jetstream Jacket Black XXL

The Jetstream jacket is perfect for those cool windy days! It does a great job of blocking the wind without unnecessary bulk. I usually wear XL but the XXL provides the more comfortable unrestricted fit that I look for.

Layer the right way and wear this on top can keep you warm in the 20s even with wind. But still wear it in those early spring morning fishing or hunting

Like the review of the pants. The jacket fit well and seems well constructed. I believe that the cammo pattern will be very effective.

Haven't worn it hunting, but I have worn it out in the cold and it seemed to be very warm for the weight. Seemed to block the wind as well.
